Nicola Peltz's Side-Swept Waves It's official: Nicola Peltz is our new red carpet obsession. At the New York City premiere of "Affluenza," the actress wore a bold one-sleeve piece from Louis Vuitton with a mod cat eye and side-swept waves.
Working with Leonor Greyl products, hairstylist Adir Abergel punched up Peltz's hairstyle by pinning one section off to the side. To get the look, Abergel prepped her towel-dried hair with Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle, $36, from roots to ends to create volume while protecting the hair from heat.
To give the volume staying power, Abergel added Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice, $46, to the roots, then created a deep side part placed at the highest arch of one brow. Working section by section, Abergel blew the hair dry, wrapped it around medium size Velcro rollers and allowed it to cool.
Once the rollers were removed, he teased the hair at the crown of the head, spraying with Leonor Greyl Laque Souple, $36. To accentuate the side part, Abergel pulled one side off her face (almost into a half updo) and secured it with bobby pins. Finally, he took a large curling iron to random sections of hair to add texture.
Chanel celebrity makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua created a "simple graphic eye to complement the shape and pattern of her top and skirt."
