The #ProductEmpties We Loved to the Last DropFrom new finds to longtime favorites, these are beauty products that our editors use until the bitter end (of the tube) |
The Eye Shadow That Makes Me Look Younger Perricone MD No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow, $35, is the gateway drug of the eye shadow world. If you asked me about my favorite eye shadow a few months ago, I would have mumbled something about the Urban Decay Naked Palette and changed the subject. I was not into eye shadow. Eyeliner? Sure. Mascara? Definitely. But shadow? It was low on my list of five-minute-makeup priorities. Not anymore.
When I was introduced to No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow everything changed. You see, in recent years I've become concerned about my eyelid skin aging -- sagging, wrinkling, all of it. Most of my favorite eye creams are designed to be used around the eye but not necessarily on it. And I felt like this facial real estate was being neglected. No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow is the answer. It's a makeup-skin care hybrid product that contains acyl-glutathione to firm crepey lids, and it has just enough color to neutralize redness and veins. Plus, it only takes a second to apply: You dab a drop -- the consistency is serum-like but dries to a matte finish -- blend and you're good to go.
It's also the perfect base for other shadows. And since I now like the way my eyelids look, I'm finally showing that Naked Palette some love. -- Dawn Davis
