There's no denying that the genie-bottle-like packaging of this product is adorable, but does it really work? I'll be honest, I have heard a couple people say that think it stinks; it dries eyes out and such. However, it worked wonders for me. No more melt-away
If you tend to have a slightly oily lid, and have experienced eyeshadow melt, or crease or any of those other 'sliding eyeshadow' issues then this is the product for you. UDPP is amazing. It applies clear and forms a weighless layer that will allow your eyeshadow to go on smoothly and stay put just the way you did it all day long. This is definitely the 'holy grail' of eyeshadow primers. One...read more note of warning - the bottle design, albeit cute, is not very product friendly in the sense that you cannot really bend the wand to get at the product accumulating on the walls. Magic in a tube!
If wear eye shadow you absolutely NEED Primer Potion. It's a translucent beige color in appearance, but when blended in is almost undetectable. On my skin, which is on the medium-dark side, it's ever-so-slight tint neutralizes the darkness I have on my upper lids. EVERYONE WINS. Definitely Helps
I purchased this specifically to help my Urban Decay "Graffiti" bright green eye shadow stop migrating around my face during the day and just stay where I applied it. I have to say that although my eye shadow does not stay exactly as I applied it in the morning, it does help quite a lot. Without the primer, I experienced a lot of shadow migration, with the color spreading up toward my ...read morebrows and diluting in vibrancy in the process. The primer very much helped stop this. Completely Impressed
I received a sample of this wonderful stuff with one of my Sephora purchases, and didn't expect much. After a day of helping set up and socializing at my mother's Christmas party, I was amazed to see that my eyeshadow hadn't budged. The rest of my make was gone, but the eyeshadow? Not even creased.
