ARBONNE MAKEUP PRIMER
I really like this product. I have an combination skin which is really oily throught the T-zone. I use powder foundations to help and this primer helps me get an even distribution of the powder plus it keeps my makeup looking good for most of the day. During the warmer months I still get a little shiny later in the day but I can blot it away without accidentally blotting the makeup off too. The original packaging was bad. After the pump quit working I could get at least another month's worth of product out by using a little make-up spatula to scrape down the sides of the bottle. They've changed the bottle and I'm not sure about the new style. The bottle is completely opaque plastic and the top is fused to the bottom so I can't actually see how much product is left. I think I'm nearing the end of this one and the pump is still delivering the right amount of primer. On one of Arbonnne's other products they's switched the bottle to a push-up style pump where the interior floor of the bottle rises as the product gets used. I suspect they've done this on the primer bottle too. When I get to the end of this one I'm going to break it open to see. I haven't tried many primers but I love this one. I don't leave the house without it. Leaves a super smooth finish and makes my skin look flawless w/no makeup and even more flawless when I'm wearing makeup. My t-zone used to get super-shiny all the time, but now I have this primer to keep me fab all day. Long gone are the days that I'd take a pic with friends in the middle of the day and be horrified at the shine-ball that was my face. This stuff surprisingly keeps me pretty matte for most of the day. If you don't think it's working, add more; it was just an OK product for me until I realized I needed 2 pumps - one specifically for my t-zone and the other for the rest of my face. It's a bit pricey for me, but worth every penny. I have 2 old bottles that still contain a decent amount of product - the only problem is that I can't get the product out! Would love to break into the bottle, but since it's glass I know I'd either end up 1) cutting my finger or 2) get glass shards into the product - neither of which is a good idea. Also, my pump ends up breaking once I'm halfway through the bottle, which means I end up directly dipping out of it (yuck!). Even still, don't know how I lived without this stuff. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 13 of 17 people said helpful

Pricey!
This IS a great primer - but it, as well as most of the other products in this line- are WAY over-priced! I went to a friend's daughter's "party" and purchased 2 items - my bill was $109.00 AND you have to pay S & H as your products are sent to you! (AND it took FOREVER to get my items AFTER they had billed for them!) They also encourage their people to really PUSH for the attendees to book their OWN 'party', but do not (in my opinion) offer a deep enough discount as an incentive! I WON'T be re-ordering, I'm much more inclined to go back to Philosophy!!! — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 21 of 71 people said helpful
