Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Editor's Rating & Review
We require that a product deliver high "wow" factor to add another step to beauty routines -- and we're usually underwhelmed by primers. So we skeptically smoothed a dab of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, a translucent shadow primer, onto just one lid, then applied shadow for several days. Surprise: Richer pigment on the primer lid. By day's end each time we tested, the primer lid had worn noticeably better, resisting creasing and color. Those with oily or mature skin will consider this a staple.

Love the product, not the packaging!
LipglossandSpandex (487 reviews)I received a deluxe sample of this primer potion and even though that packaging is slightly better than the normal sized primer packaging, you won't be able to get very much product out of the packaging without 'depotting it'--which basically means hacking it open! I do love the primer though--goes on well, and really keeps my eyeshadow on for hours and hours. I have terribly oily eyelids and this really works for at least 6 hours. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 15 people said helpful

I still prefer Too Faced Shadow Insurance
volta (516 reviews)I've received many different UD primers through their shadow palettes. I probably have all of them. I don't care for the applicator tip. It feels that I get more out of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance than I do with UD potions, and for exactly the same price too. TFSI lasted me over a year whereas this lasted a few months. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Eyeshadow Primer
CaroleVonAllten (1154 reviews)This is the best primer I have ever used. My shadows stay in place all day - no smearing or rubbing off, or sweated off. This is the one and only primer you will ever need! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 9 people said helpful
