  Did not live up to the hype

  This only gets 1 star because it won't let me give 0! After reading review after glowing review (you'd think this was gold in a bottle), I finally purchased some of this. I didn't really care for the texture on my lids, but I thought "eh, if it works, so what?" Well...it does not work for me. It did nothing for... intensifying my shadows (as some claim - that wasn't why I bought it though). I don't have a big creasing problem but this product did NOT keep my shadow from creasing at all. And even worse, after a couple of weeks of using it, my eyelids got very dry and flaky. Another nitpick for this product -- the packaging is horrible! The shape of the container and the applicator makes it impossible to get all the product out if you do like it. I've seen many accounts of people cutting into theirs with knives and scooping out what amounts to half the product -- product they couldn't get out with the applicator. This is ridiculous and I think Urban Decay should address the packaging so that people can acutally use what they pay for. You shouldn't have to risk injuring yourself just to get to the product!   BEST PRODUCT EVER

  As a cosmetologist, I am expected to look a certain way all the time. Not just at work. I am also supposed to know all the best beauty products available for customers to buy. Since I have found Urban Decay Eye Primer, I have never had a problem with my eyeshadow. It never creases, comes off, smudges, or moves in any dire...ction. This product literally changed the way I look, live, and sell. I have complete confidence in this product, and would recommend this product to every female in the world. Not only is this product affordable, it will last you a very long time. I have had mine for almost a year. Just swipe a line across your lid and rub in with your finger and apply eyeshadow as normal.   I received this potion with my kit of eyeshadow from Sephora and wow, it really works. I've done comparisons of using the primer with my various eyeshadows and this potion is the secret to bringing out the true colors of the eyeshadow. It lasts all day, doesn't cake or crease. It's definitely worth a try. The downfall is ju...st that it dries too quickly so you can't blend and play with it much. June 2, 2008, 1:11 am

  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

  This is a dream come true. I love wearing eyeshadow, but before this.. I got soo sick of looking disgusting a couple hours later because my eyelids were creasing like heck! I love the wand! I love the little bit of concealing effect it has. It works wonders on my oily lids, and my eyeshadow has NEVER creased. A bit of advis...e is once it sets.. DO NOT reapply anymore or it will just get all messed up. The only problem I have had is that in one tube the bottom broke out with a slight fall from my countertop.   Not bad, but not great.

  I bought this product, and I have noticed that my eyeshadow stays on so much longer- it stays on all day. I really havent noticed the change in color that the sales reps. kept telling me about "using this, your eyeshadow color will pop out more, it makes it brighter."-They even did a demonstration. *rolls eyes*. I...f I could change anything, it would be the fact that you have to make sure when putting this product on, you have to put your eyeshadow on exactly over it, or you will be able to see where the primer was put on after its dried. To sum it all up, it does what its supposed to do- make your eyeshadow last longer. Okay buy. April 12, 2008, 9:58 am

  A MUST for Oily Lids

  I must have the oiliest lids on the planet. Nothing and I mean nothing ever stopped my eyeshadow from creasing. Even the crease proof creased. That is until I met UDPP. I can't believe that I didn't invest in this before. I have become a believer. I still do have slight fading from blue eyeshadow and I do get creasing... when I layer cream shadow on top of the UDPP (but I found that if i place a powder shadow on top of the UDPP then layer on my cream shadow I don't get any creasing). My shadow lasts and looks like I just put it on for hours and hours. Now if I could just find something like this for the rest of my skin. February 25, 2008, 3:08 pm

  I have somewhat oily lids and Urban Decay Primer potion helps my shadow stay in place almost all day without creasing or fading much in color, not to mention, it makes any eyeshadow of any brand "pop" for more intense color. In my experience with this product, once it's dried up, it's virtually impossibly to bu...dge the eyeshadow. The container is very cute and a little of the product goes a long way.   No need to dream of genie any more

  There's no denying that the genie-bottle-like packaging of this product is adorable, but does it really work? I'll be honest, I have heard a couple people say that think it stinks; it dries eyes out and such. However, it worked wonders for me. You glide it on like cream eyeshadow as a base for any kind of shadow. Usuall...y my eye makeup would slide off midday but this held true for the whole night. It does work better on oilier lids though, and if your lids are too dried out already, it could cause them to become even drier. February 16, 2008, 4:39 pm

  Definitely Helps

  I purchased this specifically to help my Urban Decay "Graffiti" bright green eye shadow stop migrating around my face during the day and just stay where I applied it. I have to say that although my eye shadow does not stay exactly as I applied it in the morning, it does help quite a lot. Without the primer, I ex...perienced a lot of shadow migration, with the color spreading up toward my brows and diluting in vibrancy in the process. The primer very much helped stop this. I have actually had better results when I applied the shadow on top of the primer before the primer was totally dry. February 6, 2008, 5:37 am

  Genius in a bottle!

  Not only does this bottle look super cute, but there is magic inside! This is the best eyeshadow primer I have ever tried - application is easy, it goes on smoothly, dries fast and feels silky. It also has a tiny bit of pigment to conceal any darkness on your eyelids. The best part is that it is fairly inexpensive and shado...w stays put all day, even through humid summer days!
