This week, "Mirror, Mirror" actress Lily Collins made "news" when she revealed that she'd once tried to pluck her signature bushy eyebrows into oblivion. "It used to bother me -- having bigger, fuller brows," the 22-year-old British actress reveals in this month's "Seventeen" magazine cover story. "I even plucked them once so I'd fit in, but I hated them and couldn't wait for them to grow back."
Smart move. Big brows are back in a way that we haven't seen since Brooke Shields didn't let anything come between her and her Calvins. But, what are those of us with anemic, barely-there brows supposed to do?

Since debuting in 1985, MAC (see Make-up Artist Cosmetics) has been known for its attention-grabbing colors, application techniques, and out-of-the-box philanthropic efforts. It should come as no surprise then, that the cosmetic giant is prepping to once again grab headlines and turn heads with the plans for its New York City store.

The deal, if it comes to fruition, would see the makeup retailer pay the highest ever price per square foot in Manhattan real estate -- a whopping $3,000 per. And, at 1,400 square feet, the proposed store site would clock a cool $4.2 million in rent each year. What's the big deal, it's nothing a few… See more »

Season after season hairstylists tell us that ponytails are going to be a huge trend. And we get it -- they're versatile, quick, and easy. But that doesn't mean we aren't bored. At least we were bored -- until the Golden Globes. While there were very few ponytails on the red carpet, Nicole Richie turned up wearing this "waterfall" version. The style was the handiwork of Suave Professionals stylist Jenny Cho, and it was modern, pretty, and the exact opposite of an I-just-came-from-the-gym ponytail.
Here's how to get the look:
Step 1: For maximum volume and height, start with a generous amount of dry shampoo like Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo, $4.49. Spray it at your roots, concentrating on your crown, and brush it through.
Step 2: Create three top sections… See how »
