You wouldn't think of an Olympic swimmer as having great hair -- or any hair for that matter since it's almost always hidden under a rubber cap. So hats off (get it?) to Pantene for discovering that 11-time medalist Natalie Coughlin has some seriously gorgeous hair. To coincide with the upcoming Summer Olympic Games, Pantene has named Coughlin their U.S. brand ambassador, and she's starring in this stunning campaign.
"I swim in chlorine, I cross-train in the ocean, and I wear a swim cap that breaks off my hair," Coughlin said at a recent press event announcing the partnership. "I wouldn't have nice hair without Pantene." Now that we know what's under the cap we'll definitely be rooting for Coughlin in London -- may the best hair win. See why »

Whether they were spurred on by Kodak's recent bankruptcy filing or the sobering realization that kids today have never even seen a roll of 35 mm film, FujiFilm has decided to branch out -- into skin care.
When you think about it, that segue kind of makes sense. OK, no it doesn't. But, listen to what precipitated the move. Turns out that the Pico-Collagen, an ingredient used in film to prevent photographic images from fading, can penetrate the skin through gaps between cells, restoring the youthful suppleness and elasticity. And the good news is that it's not some diabolical chemical created in an underground Frankenstein lab; Pico-Collagen is a form of astaxanthin -- a pink pigment found in shellfish and salmon -- that's believed to protect the skin from ultraviolet light.

I'm the first to admit I'm an exercise junkie. I do Pilates three times a week. I take yoga and spin classes almost daily. I love to sweat. But there's something about bootcamp classes that make me afraid. Very afraid. Sure, I know they'll whip my tush into shape almost immediately. But all that yelling, and running, and whistle-blowing, and punishment push-ups? Put me back on my yoga mat.
So when I was invited to "Healthy Hair Bootcamp" at the Rossano Ferretti Salon in Beverly Hills, Calif., flashbacks to a big-bicepped trainer barking at me almost kept me from going. Almost.
The minute I walked into this "bootcamp" I knew it would be different. My stylist, Christian Serafini, gave me a not-so-intimidating prescription for how to whip my hair back into shape -- all of which would… Read more »
