Love the product, not the packaging!

I received a deluxe sample of this primer potion and even though that packaging is slightly better than the normal sized primer packaging, you won't be able to get very much product out of the packaging without 'depotting it'--which basically means hacking it open! I do love the primer though--goes on well, and really keeps my eyeshadow on for hours and hours. I still prefer Too Faced Shadow Insurance

I've received many different UD primers through their shadow palettes. I probably have all of them. I don't care for the applicator tip. It feels that I get more out of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance than I do with UD potions, and for exactly the same price too. I will be totally honest, and say that this works well. It really does. But, the cons are an $18 price tag for a tiny tube/wand and after a little while of using the product- your eyelids get used to the strong product and it does not work as well. I never realized how much I wasn't getting out of my eyeshadows until I used urban decay's primer potion beforehand. My favorite is Eden which is a pale flesh color with no shimmer or glitter in it. It blends perfectly with my skin tone and makes my eyeshadows go on smoothly and last forever. It also makes the colors look more vibrant when applyed. I wish it wasn't as pricey as it is therefore the 9 stars instead of the full ten. This is a pretty decent eye primer. It goes on very smoothly and lasts all day without creasing. I purchased sinful and I love the little extra color it has. You could wear it alone or layer another color on top of it. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't come with an applicator and I always manage to get it where I don't want it to be (up too high on my brow).
