Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Reviews

I've had better
This primer works well enough, but I found that the Sephora brand primer works even better. I needed a lot of the Urban Decay primer to cover my lids, so a tube doesn't last as long as I had hoped for the price. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

Makes eyeshadow fun again
I never realized how much I wasn't getting out of my eyeshadows until I used urban decay's primer potion beforehand. My favorite is Eden which is a pale flesh color with no shimmer or glitter in it. It blends perfectly with my skin tone and makes my eyeshadows go on smoothly and last forever. It also makes the colors look more vibrant when applyed. I wish it wasn't as pricey as it is therefore the 9 stars instead of the full ten. I will continue to buy this product because of its high quality. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 5 people said helpful

good product
This is a pretty decent eye primer. It goes on very smoothly and lasts all day without creasing. I purchased sinful and I love the little extra color it has. You could wear it alone or layer another color on top of it. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't come with an applicator and I always manage to get it where I don't want it to be (up too high on my brow). Otherwise this is a great product. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful

Great with any Eyeshadow
No matter if i use my cheap eyeshadow or my more expensive ones this potion keeps them in place and stops them from creasing. This small bottle is a great value for the price. Definitely will be repurchasing. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

A godsend!
I've always loved this product as it always makes my shadows pop and last alllllllll day long, however with this new packaging my love for this produt has reached an all time high. Now I can officially have access to all the product and not be upset about that little bit that I could never get out of the bottom of the old packaging. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Urban Decay Original Primer Potion
I've used this product for several years and it's fantastic. It definitely does exactly what it's supposed to do: Make your eye shadow look good and help it to stay put. I do like several other products that are similar to this one, but in the end I keep going back to Urban Decay, . — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

yeah. it does work
you kno, you dont think it takes too long to add a step if you get this much payoff. not for no reason, but i frequently have to sleep in my makeup and go to work the next morning at 4am to open, and not look too partyworn. this leaves me most of my shadow and almost all my liner intact. other than the results the wear is imperceptable. best lid primer
This is definitely my favorite eyeshadow primer ever. It's perfect all around. Never too heavy or too light. I bought it based on my sister's recommendation, and the sales girl at Sephora. They both swore by it so I figured I'll try it out. Now I have to say that I normally have pretty oily lids, which is the biggest challenge in making my shadow stay on all day. Usually by lunchtime, I have all of my shadow settled into the crease in my lids. Pretty annoying if you ask me! So I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried this primer and realized that my shadow stayed on a full day without any color shift, oiliness, creasing or anything! It also helped my shadow go on nice and smooth and evenly. Another couple of benefits I noticed with this primer are that a) you'll find that you don't need to wear as much shadow to have it show up on your lids, and b) you won't get your shadow fallow off your lids and resting either on your lashes or cheekbones. The only suggestion I have is that you let it completely dry before applying your shadow. I was in a bit of a hurry one morning when I attempted to wear my shadow immediately after I put on my lid primer and noticed that the parts of my lid that weren't completely dry absorbs more shadow that the dry parts, definitely creating an uneven look that was very hard to correct. But if you just give it about 10 seconds for the primer to dry before applying your shadow, you'll be totally fine. I have tried other lid primers and even though they work well for most of the day, I've noticed that the pigments of my shadows tend to shift at about an hour after application. Really strange! But not with this Urban Decay primer. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Not impressed
Maybe i was not applying it right or something but this made my shadows crease and seem like they made my eyeshadows melt. Not matter how much or little i applied it always creased. I ended up returning this for the toofaced shadow insurance. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
