Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser Reviews

Naturals...love it!
Just picked this up last week, and so far...love it! It's very soothing and feels great on the skin. It lathers nicely and rinses clean, and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I especially liked that the ingredients on the back are all natural, recognizable, and have their sources clearly identified. The scent is very pleasant too. This one is definitely a winner! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 12 people said helpful

Quite great!
Normally I use Philosophy's Purity face wash, but that is extremely expensive per bottle so I tried searching for cheaper alternatives. So far I'm liking this! I remove my makeup with removal cloths prior to washing, but this does a good job at removing anything I may have accidentally left behind. My skin feels smooth and refreshed after use and I haven't had a problem with my skin becoming dry. Unlike the Purity wash in which I only had to use a little, I need to use more of this. Regardless, I'm still very satisfied because it does what it claims to do (and more!), but is far more budget-friendly. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Great Cleanser Horrible Dispenser
I was very happy to get this product at a local drugstore for much less than what I could get at a department store for a cleanser that removes makeup and is soothing to sensitive skin. It's true the cleanser does not foam but it really does the job when you massage it over your face and rinse with warm water. The smell is pleasant too. I knocked a star off the rating because the pump dispenser would not work. I recruited my husband to open it and he couldn't do it either so I have to pour it into my hand and hence make a mess. When I noticed the issue about the pump commented on in a video on YouTube, I knew was a problem with the dispenser. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Cleanser
Leaves you skin clean and very hydrated. Great mineral base with Amino Acids/peptides and the bonus is the Essential Fatty Acids(Avocado oils) omegas. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

AHHHH-mazing.
I love this stuff. it keeps my skin soft and lovely. It does not dry out my face and i have noticed my pores look smaller. I love how it smells and i love how its natural! thank you neutrogena for taking out more natural products! I have had trouble dispensing but i usually always switch out containers to glass ones so they look pretty! — 5 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Neutrogena Does it Again
So I was looking for something to help get rid of makeup better than just using the makeup wipes alone. (the new mascara I am using so hard to get off its like trying to remove paint) Anyway, so my choices were this and another gentle cleanser that I'd been familiar with from the past. I chose this becuase it said it was something new to try, it's natural, and the list of clear and easy to undertand ingredients on the back. I love that its smooth, but it doesn't lather very much. I adore the smell; kind of soft and sweet. It doesn't smell like soap, doesn't burn my eyes, and helps remove makeup too. I wouldn't say its "the best" but I lilke it. No regrets on this purchase. Would recommend to others with sensitive or acne prone skin. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not strong enough for my skin
I wanted to like this face wash. It smells like apples, I like that it's a more natural product, and it rinses absolutely clean. I would say the willowbark extract in it did a decent job of keeping actual breakouts down. Unfortunately, my pores clog pretty easily, and this cleanser isn't strong enough to keep them clear. If your pores aren't really a problem, I would recommend this wash. — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Doesn't clean well, burns eyes
I'm sorry to say that I hate this cleanser! Being natural is what drew me to it, but after a few uses it ended up in the garbage. My skin didn't feel clean after wards, but felt stripped and dry, with a strange residue feeling remaining. I didn't use it to clean my eye area, but just getting it near my eyes caused a lot of burning. I like many Neutrogena products, but this isn't one of them. — 3 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Heals acne fabulously.
I have the Naturals Pore scrub which isn't listed yet so i'm posting here. It's quite powerful stuff. When using a salicylic cleanser i leave the product on my skin for a minute or two to allow the acid to work better (it's given me great results). The scrub, as well as it's sister cleanser, contain willow bark extract which is salicylic acid. I left this on a tad too long in the shower while shaving and my face was red for a couple hours, so use with caution. The scrubbing beads are super gentle but give the skin a polished look non the less. I prefer this to the St. Ives apricot scrub for blemish prone skin, as it's far gentler and doesn't cause redness (so long as your not an idiot like me and forget its on your face). The smell is divine. My one irk is the consistency of it, it's kind of like slippery mucus (gross i know!). But other than that the price is fair, the results are great, and i love that ingredient list is short and simple. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 12 people said helpful

Neutrogena Well Done
Okay so I only bought this because it came with a free chapstick. Which I lost. But I did fall in love with this. I have acne sometimes, uneven skin tone, super sensitive skin. This is the perfect cleanser. Don't get me wrong I use masks, peels, and a Olay Pro-X brush. But something happens when I neglect this cleanser. I start getting breakouts around my chin and mouth area. Which is gross. I am so pleased that 1st its natural and 2nd its inexpensive and 3rd it works. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 14 people said helpful
