I prefer this more than the original primer
This doesn't make my skin breakout as often, and in general I just don't like the silicone/gel feeling of the original. This absorbs well and clear. Yes!
I often find myself searching for a perfect makeup primer. This is very nearly it and is what I always come back to in between experiments with new products. It's very good. It's reliable. It doesn't make me breakout, ever. It's very light. I can wear it under my powder foundation and except for the fact that my makeup lasts so much longer, I can't even tell I have added another step to my morning routine. I generally buy the travel/sample size tube at Sephora because I only need one tiny dollop to cover my whole face so that small, less expensive, tube lasts me a very long time. I've purchased this multiple times and the only reason I don't give it 10 stars or give in and buy the full size to use full time is that it doesn't control shine as much as I would like. I have oily skin (most of the time) and tend to be shiny by mid-day. My perfect (seemingly imaginary) primer will be light, not break me out, AND control shine. Great!
This primer is lightweight gel lotion, that is not too thick and silicon-y like the original one. It glides over face, and feels silky and light. It's not at all oily nor cushiony, and you need very little. If you have oily skin, this is one of the better suited primers. Helps, but doesn't eliminate shine
I tried this for summer after falling in love with the original formula of Photo Finish last winter. It doesn't have the same velvety texture as the original, but it still feels good on the skin. I found that it helped my makeup stay put and helped conceal flaws, but it didn't do much in the way of absorbing oil. Very good primer, but expensive!
This primer makes my skin really smooth, soft, and matte and helps my foundation go on evenly. Another good thing about it is that it doesn't dry out the skin or exaggerate dry areas. Anyone with very oily to combo skin would probably like this primer. Nice and Easy
I really like this product a lot-not love abut close. it goes on easy and controls the oil on my face. it also smooths out my skin quite a bit and minimizes pores. Since I do not wear foundation I was not sure how it would work but it also helps blush and concealer go on easier. The only problem was that after a half day or so it did get a little oily and then my makeup tended to streak. good for summer
Perfect for the summertime in Texas when I sweat and ooze oil in equal amounts. At first I didn't realize what it meant by light, I thought I'd grabbed a light tinted primer not realizing this wasn't the standard Photo Finish formula. Once I tried it though, I was extremely pleased! It kept my makeup in place (though to be honest, not as well as the original formula) and gave my skin a smooth, even finish. For some reason, since i started using this one, my Nars Orga$m Illuminator seems to have more twinkle to it. I like that I can use it in the hotter months and not feel a heaviness on my face- this is the perfect happy medium for me. AMMAAAAZZZING PRIMER!!
For me, this product was a miracle. It made my makeup last ALL day, and my face felt silky and smooth to the touch. Controls oil
I absolutely love this primer! I have oily skin and usually by lunch time my face would be shining. The first 30 minutes are great
This primer goes on well and initially will eliminate shine.
