Nars Niagara
I was prowling the aisles of my local Sephora when this gorgeous corally-pink caught my eye. Now, normally, I'm a level-headed, lipgloss-loving girl, but I fell for Niagara and I fell hard. I would've flipped at the price tag but by the time I reached the cash register my mind was enveloped in a blissful stupor. This lipstick is every inch as fantastic as I had imagined. I love the smooth texture and matte finish, which is something I can’t say about most lipsticks. The versatility of the color is great, too- I can lightly blot it on for a my-lips-but-better look, or build it up for a bolder lip. It's such a flirty and fun coral pink that makes me think of springtime. Usually, I wear Niagara with just a little lip balm and liner underneath, or sometimes with the teeniest bit of gloss in the middle of my bottom lip. A word of warning: apply Niagara with a heavy hand and you will suffer the consequences. Nars Barbarella
I love this lipstick. The color is great on my skin and i can wear it year round. I think it looks great with a smokey-eye look as well as a more natural look. Great quality and price

La Dolce Vita is the Best!
Nars lipstick is by far the best I've ever used. It always looks natural, stays put and never leaves my lips dry. I especially love the color La Dolce Vita. It is perfect for light skinned, freckled faces like mine. I love my Nars!!!!
I always loved Nars because it's been one of my favorite brands for eyeshadows. I recently bought the November issue of Allure and read up on "How To Wear Red Lipstick". I decided to go hunting for the perfect shade of red. I went into Sephora to go check some reds out and tried on two different shades from different brands with the help of a beauty consultant and fell in love with Shanghai Express. It looks absolutely gorgeous and stayed on my lips at least 6 hours even after a quick bite to eat.I only had to reapply once later in the night and was good for the rest of the day. Flamenco = spot-on red for cool-skinned ladies
My search for a blue-based red that won't overwhelm fair skin may well be over. Love the light feel of flamenco, but it does wear off quickly. Maybe the sheer ones don't last as long as the satin and semi-matte? Sounds like it's time to buy more product. You know. Shades to flatter everyone
Hands down, NARS has the widest spectrum of colors in shades to flatter every skintone. I'm a fair redhead with pinkish undertones, and have a hard time finding flattering shades to match both skin and haircolor. In other lines, pinks are just too pink for my haircolor, and reds are too pinkish-blue or too orange-brown. NARS is the only line that offers me lots of shades that look great, offer rich, semi-matte color, and have decent (but not super-long) staying power. Some of my very favorite shades include Afghan Red, Russian Doll, Fire Down Below, and Morocco.
