  If you read any fashion mag, you will have heard of this color. I succumbed to this color because it is practically brainwashed into your brain when you hear of it so many times. I used it up and it was a nice color, but it doesn't have good lasting power. It feels more like a chapstick. April 18, 2008, 8:09 am

  Not too bad, but there are better lipsticks out there for cheaper. Nars has a pretty variety of colors, but they just don't last too long for the price. May 28, 2008, 12:17 pm

  I am a self-professed lip stick aholic! I covet each and every type of lip stick, gloss, balm, what have you. Needless to say, I have tried tons of them on and no lipstick comes as close to perfect as NARS. It doesn't fade, feather or clump. It has the perfect consistency for layering and comes in so many fabulous shade...s. It is a little pricey, but so worth it. One day, I plan to own one of each color and two of certiain ones. My newest favorite is "Sexual Healing". A great sparkly nude-ish tone that looks great on everyone! May 28, 2008, 10:09 am

  I love my Nars!!!!

  I always loved Nars because it's been one of my favorite brands for eyeshadows. I recently bought the November issue of Allure and read up on "How To Wear Red Lipstick". I decided to go hunting for the perfect shade of red. I went into Sephora to go check some reds out and tried on two different shades from differ...ent brands with the help of a beauty consultant and fell in love with Shanghai Express. It looks absolutely gorgeous and stayed on my lips at least 6 hours even after a quick bite to eat.I only had to reapply once later in the night and was good for the rest of the day. One of the best lipsticks I've tried yet. I love it! November 30, 2007, 7:21 am

  Pretty, but not burgundy

  Viridiana is a beautiful lipstick, it really is! But as to what the other reviewers are saying, why is Nars' describing this as a rich burgundy? Just like my rant over Bad Education, which was described on the site as a crimson (which it is not). Anyway, this is a deep, dusty rose! It's not a red in my opinion at all. This ...is a day or night color, lovely, but it's no vamp shade and in my opinion, it's really nothing special that couldn't be found at a lesser cost. November 29, 2007, 9:59 am

  i heart captiva

  I've long been a fan of Nars lipstick. While it does not have supernatural staying power (it does come off when you eat/drink/smoke/rub your lips w/ Kleenex), this lipstick is well worth its $20-something price tag. The colors are always rich and really remain true once applied. My new favorite shade is Captiva, a berry-...reddish shade that looks good on almost everyone... November 7, 2007, 7:49 am

  Dolce Vita Is The Sweet Life!

  Dolce Vita has been on my list of cult classic must-haves for a long time but there was always another product that I would choose over it. I'm not sure why it got passed over so many times but I'm really glad I finally have it in my beauty stash! The rosy-brown shade has been quoted as being the "most universally f...lattering shade". The colour definitely does not apply as dark as it appears in the tube. Applied a couple of times, as in the above picture, goes on a sheer rosy-brown. It enhances my natural lip colour and brightens up my skin tone. Dolce Vita is one of those colours you can swipe on quickly before leaving the house. I like the slightly glossy texture it has and leaves my lips feeling nicely moisturized. The colour is buildable and can become the same intensity as the colour in the tube. The deeper rosy-brown shade almost looks like you've been snogging for a few hours. Dolce Vita reminds me of a sheer version of M.A.C.'s Twig lipstick which is a hit or miss with most people. I think it's sheer quality makes it a lot more wearable especially with different looks. The lipstick is also really long-lasting even with it's light texture. A cult-classic for me is something that will remain timeless year after year. This is definitely one of those colours. March 9, 2008, 1:11 pm
