  I can't wait to put this on in the morning!

  I've never been a big fan of applying eyeliner. Every pencil I tried (and believe me, I've tried many) lead me to despising the task even more. Eventually, I started using shadows as eyeliners so I could control the line easier, but the only problem I faced was being eyeliner-less at the end of the day because the shado...ws didn't have the staying power I desired. Then my best friend introduced me to these fabulous little pencils and my eyeliner woes started to fade! You can control the thickness of the line just by sharpening the pencil a little bit and, as its name suggests, it glides on smoothly and almost effortlessly. Its staying power is incredible and only comes off when I wash it off at night (if you neglect this step, as my best friend often does, you will wake up with the ability to "touch-up and go" because this liner will most definitely be in the same place in the a.m.!) With the wide array of color choices, there's bound to be one (or many) you'll love. My fav. is Bourbon- a medium brown with a bit of sparkle. February 12, 2008, 8:42 am

  When it comes to ease in application, nothing beats the quick work you can do with a good pencil. But with the ease, usually comes smudging as most pencil liners are not up to the task of performing all day long without meltdowns. Not so with these pencils! They apply and wear like a gel liner but they're built into a pe...ncil lending much convenience.After these set, your eyeliner is nearly smudgeproof and can survive most says with only a bit of smudging. I have some issues with it underneath my eye after 6-8 hours, but I have oily skin so I expect that. I love these to pieces and own several. My only real wish is that they're further expand the color line. There are already some good brights, but I'd also like some darker shades (like a midnight blue, forest green etc.) too.   Okay, so I haven't tried every single eyeliner on the market, but this is definitely the best of those I _have_ tried! I'd been turned off of eyeliner from using those hard painful cheap pencils, but was SO happily surprised when a salesgirl handed one of these to me to feel. So silky, so soft! I love the variety of colo...rs and the ability to create thin (make sure to sharpen frequently if you want thin lines, since they're soft the tips dull quickly) and thick lines. Urban Decay rocks!   Great for a smokey eye!

  This pencil is a dream, soft, easy to apply, densely colored. Once the color sets, it lasts all day. I've taken a star off because one of the pencils' strength-its' softness-also its' weakness. Sharpening the pencil takes too much product down. And it's extremely waterproof-I've used it on underwater shoots. April 22, 2008, 8:35 am

  my favorite liner, by a mile!

  These pencils glide on like silk, have gorgeously strong colors, and last all day. Some of the colors have slightly different textures--my favorite is Lucky, the bronze shade (which also brightens blue eyes marvelously). I've found that the shades with more of a metallic finish seem to have a silkier consistency. You defi...nitely need to use eye makeup remover to take them off--your regular face wash won't cut it.   Love these liners1

  The colors are bright and gorgeous and they have the best staying power of any liner I've ever used. The black liner is perfect for a smokey eye look. the bright deep blue, Deviant, looks amazing with brown eyes and black mascara. Great product!! November 20, 2007, 11:19 pm

  Good, but not great

  I don't know if I got a defective pencil or what, but I don't think this eyeliner has anywhere near the staying power everyone says it does. It glides on nicely, but I find it must be very sharp to create a straight line. A chunkier pencil should equal thicker line, but unless its super sharp the line is not clean. The eyel...iner does stay bold and intense all day, but it will move all over the place if touched. It glides when you put it on, but it glides the rest of the time too. February 15, 2008, 8:18 am

  smudge-o-rama

  The salesperson said I'd have a couple of minutes after application to blend and then it would set and be totally waterproof...shyeah. Well, it goes on nice and creamy, but I can't say it's waterproof. It's easy to "smoke out" the black and get a nice, smoky eye, but the color does tend to smudge and bleed, even t...hough it takes a strong remover to get it all off at the end of the day.   Waterproof?

  I bought this pencil because I love their eyeshadows and I just had Lasik, so I have to have waterproof eye makeup due to all the drops I use. This goes on great, very easy, but it is definitely not waterproof. It doesn't last through my first application of drops before it starts smearing.   Best pencil!

  Great pencil! I asked the salesperson for a black eyeliner that doesn't wear off or smudge easily and ended up buying this one! It's great! It really doesn't smudge easily and leaves you with a beautiful black lined eye. In fact, be careful applying it because it sets very quickly and then it will hard to fix any mistakes.
