10 Most Controversial Beauty Products
See which skin care, hair, body and makeup goodies TotalBeauty.com readers can't see eye-to-eye on.
Why it's controversial: The debate rages on over whether this is truly "lip enhancing." Some say, "I take issue with the 'lip enhancing' part. This product made my highly pigmented lips shiny and soft; if that is the 'enhancement,' then so be it. But when I hear 'enhancement,' I expect it to improve … lips." Others disagree, "It's not meant to be a plumper, and I'm not sure where everybody is getting that. 'Lip enhancing' refers to the fact that it adds color to your lips and makes them slightly better than your own." For some readers, that enhancement is plenty, but others clearly want more.
