Smells great, but...
I love the scent of this shampoo-- LOVE it. I also really like that there are choices of shade depth, rather than just brown. However, this made my hair very sticky, and didn't really add any volume. So-so as volumizing shampoo
I tried both Shine Release Volumizing Shampoo with Light Enhancers, Chestnut to Espresso and Shine Release "Moisturizing" Shampoo with Light Enhancers. I did not feel or see any different result. visible shine
The shine is visible with this and it works just as well as the expensive stuff I think. I am leary of any shampoo's that contain the words volumizing because I've read in allure that it can end up having the opposite effect. I used this pretty good product nearly 7 years ago, and it really does show the varied tones in either natural brunette or dyed brunette hair. My hair's naturally dark warm brown, and I used Amber to Maple. When I used it, I noticed reddish-blonde highlights in my hair. Great shine, okay volume
I have been using this product for several years now. The second day that I used this shampoo, I had three different people tell me how shiny and healthy my hair looked. I have fine, medium brown hair, and it really brings out all the different tones and highlights. As a volumizer, however, I have noticed some added volume and bounce, but nothing revolutionary. Awful!!!!
I used this shampoo about three times and it made my hair super greasy and dull. It was a major disappointment because I heard so many great things about this product. Awesome
The brunette shampoo and conditioners are amazing. This is a must-have product for me. I've gotten so many compliments about how shiny my hair is because of this line! Also I have acne-prone skin and some shampoos irritate, but this does not. Also smells great.
