Great way to clean your face when you're in a hurry

Not very effective

I've tried cleansing cloths by Dove, Garnier, Ponds, Estee Lauder, Boots and a few different ones by Olay. I used to think that Olay Total Effects Age Defying was my least favorite Olay makeup removing wipes, but among all the others including non-Olay brands', I must say this one is the least effective in removing my makeup. I purchased this in All Skin Types only because it was on sale. It did not dry out my skin, the scent was pleasant, and it did not give any irritation after using it, but it did not take off most of my makeup, not even a regular eyeshadow. These cloths are very soft (will never scratch you even around eye area), very wet, and large size sheets. It feels slightly oily, but it takes off even the heaviest makeup application very well. I only needed to splash water afterwards, my skin is not oily afterwards, and no need for cleansing with another cleanser afterwards like I have to with other wipes. I am not a big fan of these wipes, but they do when nothing else is available. The texture of the cloths is rather rough, and if I use them around my eye area, my eyes become really red and irritated. I do like how well they clean, but the irritation they cause kind of cancels that out for me. — 2 years, 6 months ago

I use these daily and I absolutely LOVE THEM!! They are great when you're on the go and don't have the time to wash your face and are SUPER convenient when I go tanning because I hate to tan with my make-up on and these are PERFECT!! I've never had any type of reaction to them either which is another huge plus in my book and they are reasonably priced too ($5.49 a package, 33 count). The sensitive skin version of these are good!

I bought the sensitive skin version of these cloths twice--they are very nice, and I would use them at night. They were effective at taking off eye and face makeup (although it did help if I did an initial wash and rinse with something else first), and they were gentle enough to use around the eye without stinging (although the rubbing and stretching of the skin worried me as it's not good). They did leave your skin feeling good, and not dry, or extra sensitive. I have dry, sensitive skin, and these cloths were just great. I only stopped using because, well, for the price, you don't get much. I would even cut them in half, but when you get to the last few, they tend to dry out a little. I also felt that after a long summer day these didn't clean as effectively as a regular cleanser would, so I switched. That's just me, it's not like I have proof that they weren't as effective or anything! — 7 months, 3 weeks ago
