Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Pro Primer Reviews

Great Drugstore Primer
I like that this primer is different than the other ones I've tried. Other primers have a silky feel. This one is just like putting on face lotion, but it does a great job of prepping your face for foundation, powder, and the rest of your makeup. Plus, it helps control my oily skin too. I highly recommend that you try this out! — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 27 of 29 people said helpful

For the price-AMAZING.
I have extremely oily skin, so most foundations tended to disappoint me and eventually, I decided it was time to venture into the realm of face primers. Since I have had great experiences with many Rimmel products, I decided to give this primer a try. It seemed like a great value getting so much for such an affordable price-another feature I love about Rimmel. Plus the whole 5-in-1 advertising made it seem like a well-balanced, multi-purpose product. Upon trying it out for the first time, the first thing I learned is that a little really does go a long way. Too much, and your skin can feel a bit oily. It feels like a much like a typical moisturizer in my hands, but once I start blending it into my face, it gets very silky and leaves my face extremely soft and even. If you use a mineral foundation, it can cause patches of product to stick and not blend well, so be wary of that. However, I typically use liquid foundations and found that this product has worked well with every foundation that I have. As for keeping my makeup in place-this is not my miracle product. At the end of the day, not matter what combination of foundations and setting powders on my face, it is usually a bit shiny on my t-zone. But it certainly helps my makeup to last a couple more hours than usual, and for the price, I can’t complain at all. I am not sure if I will ever find a better primer for the price. So for now, this is my everyday product. I highly recommend it to any skin type since it does have a bit of moisturizer for those of you with dry skin. Great job Rimmel, just not quite strong enough for the oiliest among us. — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Awesome for drugstore primer
his is a very affordable drugstore primer that works as well as some other higher end primers. It is priced at $7.49 for a 1fl oz bottle. The product does last a long time considering your only need a little bit at a time. Fix & Perfect claims to be a skin perfecting primer; it is evident that it does just that because when applied it does smooth out and even out your face for easier and a more even makeup application. The product has a orange color to it, but once applied and blended into the face, the color fades away. Fix and Perfect primer does make your foundation stay on longer, and it fades away any shine that might be on your face. This product works well on any skin type, whether dry, oily or combination. It is definitely gentle enough for sensitive skin, since that is a big concern when using primers! It glides on fairly well and quickly even with the driest spots; yet doesn't make your face shiny or greasy at all! The product does have a floral scent to it which might be bothersome for some people, however if scents don't bother you then I would highly recommend this product over a few higher priced primers that work equally the same. — 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Best drugstore primer
I bought this primer because it was the first decent looking, inexpensively priced primer I found, and I honestly wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that this primer did everything it claimed to do! It doesn't clog my pores, feels great on my skin (it's like putting on a moisturizer), it gives me that lit-from-within glow, and it makes my skin look flawless in general. In terms of making my foundation last longer, I can't say much (my foundation lasts all day without a primer. Yeah, I splurged on it), but I feel like it would probably pass that test with flying colors too! I love how you really don't need to use much and the bottle lasts for a really long time. I wish it had SPF, but I don't mind much that it doesn't since most foundations have it mixed in. It also keeps my skin moisturized. I'd totally buy this again and I really do recommend it! By the way, I'm talking about the non-tinted clear formula. I've noticed that almost all the negative reviews are talking about the original formula, which has a weird salmon-orange tint to it. So I'd recommend buying the clear (002) instead of the tinted (001) primer. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

Great for Daily Wear
This is a great primer to use under all foundations including the ones that feel a bit dry. It stays for a long time compared to other drugstore products I've used. This feels like a light moisturizer, opposed to a silky (almost silicone) face-suffocator. I find it doesnt wear over 8-10 hours (thats just me, though). — 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Perfect
I have search EVERYWHERE for a primer that makes my skin look airbrushed without looking fake. This covers my large pores and even a scar on my cheek from a car accident. I can even wear it without foundation. THANK YOU RIMMEL OF LONDON! — 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

This is such a great primer at such a great price! I keep coming back to it again and again. It truly does everything it says. Very lightweight, not greasy at all and works well on all skin types! — 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Threw it away
This primer was awful. It made my face really red, it felt really oily and greasy, and did nothing to minimize my pores. I threw it away — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love it!
It made my skin smooth and wasn't oily! Some people complain about the orange tint, but it isn't noticeable if you have a tan, and if you're putting foundation over it it gives you a warm glow. I loved it and recommend it! — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
