Not impressed!
When I was watching a program about featured anti-aging products this season, I was intrigued by the Miracle Skin product. Similar to a BB cream, this product claims to hydrate, protect with spf 20, and "transform" the complexion by smoothing over fine lines and wrinkles, reducing the appearance of pores, and evening out tone and pigmentation over time, all while giving you a flawless airbrushed look. I was more intrigued with the airbrush look because my skin is nowhere near perfect despite my arduous claims with skin care (I've seen a dermatologist already, but I'm not ready to shell out the $$$ for pricey procedures). When I tried a little on my hand, it did give a beautiful soft airbrush effect that I was hoping for. So I decided to take a sample of this home to try for a few days. Unfortunately, my experiences were not as I hoped it would be. First this product claims to hydrate--if anything, it made my skin feel much DRIER with this on, than not having anything else on. I could see my problem flakey skin associated with living in the desert rise though the tint. Second, there are limited ting. My complexion is in between light and medium and neither of those fit my complexion well. There IS a translucent shade, but I was hoping for a tint for times when I desired sheer coverage on low-maintenance days. Third, this product claims to have "naturally-derived silicone" which means if you have had problems in the past with silicone (like if it makes you break out), I would skip this product. Although it made my skin feel silky, my skin always feels uncomfortable wearing silicone products. This product is also a much thicker consistency, so it takes a while to apply on your face. As far as it goes trying to achieve that "airbrushed" look? Although this did reduce the appearance of my pores and fine lines, and it did give me a satin finish, I could not get past the way that it made ALL of my dry flakey skin appear through. Even when I use regular foundation, it is able to cover my dry skin, but I was thoroughly unimpressed with this product. For someone who has a decent complexion with not-so-dry skin, I'm sure this product might impress them. As for me, I'm thrilled that I didn't bother wasting $48 for a tube of this stuff (so pricey!) This is just another extremely pricey tube of tinted moisturizer (and let's face it, I've tried tinted moisturizers that were FAR superior and at a fraction of the cost). The only thing that this product does offer over most tinted moisturizers or BB creams, are its anti-aging properties. Since I'm young and I follow a good skin care regimen, I can afford to pass on the so-called "anti-aging benefits" that this product claims to do. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Silky but skin is not hydrated
When I first put this on, my skin felt silky smooth. However, makeup didn't 'stick' as well and within 5 minutes it had settled into my fine lines. Four hours later, my skin was flaky dry. I thought it might have been a fluke due to the cold winter weather so I continued to use it for a week. Same thing every day. The day I switched back to my regular product, there was no problem. Skin was back to normal. So, I can definitely attribute the challenges to this product. I tossed it. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Superb
It's nice, it doesn't have great coverage if you have pimples, but it does give that airbrushed look otherwise. It's recommendable for oily skinned people who want something soft and light. — 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
