Very good lipstick
This goes on very smooth and creamy. They have lots of colors, and the lipstick lasts a long time. For a good effect, I put a dab of lip glass in the center of my upper and lower lips. I read that this makes your lips look pouty and full. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Wasn't Impressed
The colors are nice, but they don't wear long. There is a strange taste/scent, and I never knew what to do with the sword at the tip--I was always afraid of impaling myself! — 13 hours, 41 minutes agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love Hate Relationship
The colors are fab and have a nice pay off on the lips. The color has a decent amount of wear to it but it tastes like CRAP! The package is awesome but it is not the biggest tube of lipstick for the price. This is probably my least favorite product from Urban Decay.... — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

omg it taste like poison
i love the colors and finishs of this lipstick, it feels and looks really great on and the case is really cute. i was excited that it smells so great and set in to lick it all off and really, i thought i would throw up before i could get to a drink. it taste SO bad, the only thing that taste that much like what i think poison would taste like is nail polish remover. if you arent a big lip-licker its a lipstick to love....if you are prone to mindless lip smacking however, stear clear! this might train you to stop eating lipstick i guess..... — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Urban Decay Lipstick
I was so happy when Urban Decay rereleased their lipsticks! They are so edgy with the cutest names, and I was really happy to find out my favorite color, Gash, was a part of the new line. I really like the texture and consistency of these lipsticks. They glide on and when I use the 24/7 Gash liner and the lip primer from Urban Decay, it lasts very well. I love the packaging, and it is a good sized lipstick for the money. I am happy to see them all back. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

You pay for the package
Urban Decay's lipsticks offer some of the finest colors I've seen in a lip product. The sparkly shades aren't too gritty or too crazy for work, and the creamy shades glide on smoothly. For $22, however, they don't last long on your lips. Nor do they taste or smell particularly good. The price tag, it would seem, is based on the package, a shiny purple tube clothed in a chunky lid swarming with a tattoo-inspired design. Urban Decay's logo is pressed into the lipstick and you separate cap from tube by tugging the metal sword embedded in the bottom. If you don't mind how bulky the packaging is, the stylized design has only one fatal flaw: the knife breaks off easily, and once it does it's impossible to free your lipstick from its cap. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great variety of color, decent lipstick.
Overall I would not really recommend UD lipsticks. I love their eyeshadows and primers. The lipsticks are definitely in the meh category. On the plus side there are some amazing colors. They go on smoothly and have a great creamy texture. On the negative they do not last very long, smell and taste terrible, are pricey and are poorly packaged. Don't get me wrong, the packaging is very cute but since this isn't apply in the morning and forget about it lipstick the casing should have been easy to throw in your pocket or bag instead of the worry-it'll-break-or-stab-you-in-the-thigh variety. If you find your perfect color go for it, otherwise stick to their eye makeup. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Love the formula
I have this lipstick in 3 shades and i love them. I have read the other reviews.. I have to say i have worn mine too many times to count and i have never tasted the lipstick, It feels great on my lips i love the colors and the finishes. I plan on buying more colors. The tube is adorable. I love this product i do have to reapply it a few times a day but i do not mind. If you lick your lips then maybe you should not buy it. If you do not i am sure you will love it as much as i do. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Another One Of My Favorites
I really like this lipstick in peroxide. It's more of a pale pink that has a little bit of sheer and shine. I really didn't like that the bottom part of the lipstick would poke me ever so often. It cost $22. This is the only shade I have tried from urban decay and I love it. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

I would give this a 10 but the asprin taste prohibits it!
I bought two of these in Oil Slick and Wanted, both sheer formulas. Wanted is a beautiful berry color, not too pink or red or bright, I find it does not compete with UD's brighter eyeshadows. Oil slick is a sheer black, looking grey but somehow still flattering when combined with your natural lipcolor. I bought this one to wear to my goth concerts, and it is once again a color that does not compete with their bright eyeshadows but does "goth" up your look without looking like a bad black Halloween lipstick. Both of these are wonderfully creamy, glide on easily and are quite moisturizing, at least compared to some drugstore lipsticks. But on my Wanted lipstick, there is a horrible bitter taste, like crushed up asprin or something. Oddly enough Oil Slick does not have this problem. I try not to lick my lips too much, but still...and yes the packaging did sell me on this, I keep a makeup bag in my purse anyway, so I don't mind the size or the dagger poking out, its unique and I like it! — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
