I would give this a 10 but the asprin taste prohibits it!

I bought two of these in Oil Slick and Wanted, both sheer formulas. Wanted is a beautiful berry color, not too pink or red or bright, I find it does not compete with UD's brighter eyeshadows. Oil slick is a sheer black, looking grey but somehow still flattering when combined with your natural lipcolor. I bought this one to wear to my goth concerts, and it is once again a color that does not compet...read moree with their bright eyeshadows but does "goth" up your look without looking like a bad black Halloween lipstick. Both of these are wonderfully creamy, glide on easily and are quite moisturizing, at least compared to some drugstore lipsticks. But on my Wanted lipstick, there is a horrible bitter taste, like crushed up asprin or something. Oddly enough Oil Slick does not have this problem. I try not to lick my lips too much, but still...and yes the packaging did sell me on this, I keep a makeup bag in my purse anyway, so I don't mind the size or the dagger poking out, its unique and I like it!

don't buy it in midnight cowboy!!

i tried the urban decay lipstick in midnight cowboy, and i'll just say that it's not worth your money. just from the appearance, it looks like a gorgeous beige color with subtle shimmer in it. but it looks like nothing but glitter on your lips. it is completely sheer (no color to it at all), and when you rub your lips together, you can literally feel the glitter rubbing your your lips and isn't a ...read moresmooth feeling. it's not moisturizing either. i'm very disappointed in this shade, but maybe the other colors are better....?

BEAUTIFUL colors.

the colors are beautiful, long lasting, even, and really well formulated. the taste is a little bitter, but not disgusting, and not noticeable unless you directly lick your lips, which i don't do while wearing lipstick. I'm very fair, and Jailbait, Buzzkill, and Wanted are all beautiful and flattering, and they fade well.

Urban OK!!

I absolutely love these lipsticks and it never fails that someone will come up and ask what brand and color so I always say..Urban Decay..Urban OK!!

super pretty!

i really like revolution! it is my favorite red lipstick i have used!! it feels nice and looks pretty! i really like the tube it comes in with a tiny little knife on top it is adorable!!

I love WANTED

I'm an Urban Decay junkie, but I have to say that I love my lipstick the most. I have the color WANTED and I really love it. I have to say that I'm constantly worried about the container breaking though. The little dagger on the end is the only thing that you have to take the lid off of the lipstick.

Great colors, Aweful taste!

I was introduced to this by a sales associate because Urban Decay has a vast amount of neutral/nude colored lipsticks. I absoultely love the color, but it doesn't stay on very long, especially considering the price. I think we're paying the extra for the ridiculous packaging of the lipstick. Packaging is very clunky and not practical. I'm going to drone about the taste. I don't know if maybe it's ...read moreto keep us from licking our lips but I have NEVER tasted a lipstick that tasted bitter like this! I would relate it to licking a rubber tire! Heaven forbid you drink something because you will taste it! If you can get past the taste, at least the colors are pretty.

Great colors, awful taste

I'm very ambivalent about Urban Decay's lipsticks. On one hand, they have some very gorgeous colors in some very flattering finishes. "Wanted" is the prettiest sheer berry lipstick I've ever tried. They go on smoothly, feel fantastic on and wear pretty well for a lipstick. Not longwearing or smudge/transfer resistant by any means, but they last about what you'd expect any decent lipst...read moreick to, no more and no less. But unfortunately, they've got clunky and impractical packaging, smell obnoxious, taste vile and are ridiculously overpriced. $22 for a lipstick is more than I'd expect from Urban Decay, and while it's a pretty good lipstick, it's not nice enough to warrant the price tag especially when compared to some of its competitors. It's not as expensive as Dior, NARS or Chanel, but it's substantially more expensive than Stila, Benefit, Clinique, Too Faced or MAC. The plastic purple packaging is appealing at first, but like a lot of this brand's packaging, becomes an annoyance once the cute factor wears off. The tube is thicker and heavier than it needs to be and the dagger at the bottom of the tube hinders storage as it prevents you from being about stand it up right side up (which is how the sticker would show) or with the cap off. It also means that if you carry it around in your pocket, you do so at your own risk, because that dagger can hurt if it starts poking you in the thigh. Finally, the taste and smell of these lipsticks is the worst I've ever experienced. The smell itself isn't bad per say, but it smells more strongly than a lipstick should and isn't completely pleasant as it's sort of sickly sweet. The taste, however, is unequivocally awful. I'm not sensitive to the taste of lipsticks or glosses, and I'm not constantly licking my lips or anything, but it's hard to ignore the fact that these lipsticks have a terrible chemical flavor that I've never encountered in another lipstick. It almost tastes like insect repellent. I can't imagine how it got past the testers this way. I don't know what's causing it, but whatever it is they can do without it as there are loads of other lipsticks on the market that are just as nice but don't taste like something that could land you in the ER if you consumed it. Overall, I'd repurchase these if they come out with a really great color, but they won't be the first place I look if I'm trying to find a new lipstick.
