Better alternative to most sunscreens
Peter Thomas Roth is one of my favorite skin care lines (along with Ole Henriksen). Sun protection is SUPER important (no brainer), but even more so because I live in Arizona. Because we get such vicious sun rays, I make sure to be extra vigilant with sun protection products, but more specifically what's in it. I LOVE that this has a lower level of Oxybenzone in it (at 3,5 percent) as opposed to the typical 6 percent level most sunscreens have. Oxybenzone is a chemical sunscreen that can cause a large production of free radicals in the skin which an cause premature aging (as if you have enough to worry about already with skin cancer risks!) So even though it would be ideal withOUT the Oxybenzone, I do like that it's much less strength. I do really love how this feels on your skin. It is very sheer and lightweight, but most importantly it absorbs into the skin like a dream. You do not have to worry about it leaving a white film on your skin. Like the name mentions, it does not make your skin feel greasy, in fact it actually makes it feel quite soft! The price is 26 dollars for a 4 ounce bottle which is a bit much unless you're hardcore devoted. Especially so when you should actually be using an entire ounce for your entire body. Therefore if you followed the FDA recommended amount of sunscreen to achieve getting the level of protection described (spf 30 in this case), and you wore the sunscreen EVERY day, then you would run out after four days (assuming you don't reapply--although you should if you're out for longer and then you run out faster). Oily skin
I have super oily skin and high spf is always difficult for oily skin but this product is great. It absorbs quickly. At 1st it is a little shiny but that goes away quick It has not caused any breakouts and does not leave that pale pasty look other high spfs do. Amaizing sunscreen
I am 32 year old woman, have mildly oily skin, no acne problem, very regular skin care routine. i used this product couple of months ago and my o my I just love it. Thought I dont have very oily skin but still what ever sunscreen I put on makes my face really shiny. Doesn't matter even if it is oil free. I bought this product from skin store when they send me a $20 birthday coupon. it was still deal. The product is oil free it blends to your skin very easily and dont leave any white residue. It made my skin slightly shiny but a little application of face powder took care of it. This is so far the best sunscreen I have ever used. It is very difficult to find it on sale. if I see it on sale I am definitely buying it . Slightly pricey, I used it everyday in the morning and when ever I went out at the end. The 4 oz bottle lasted for about two moths. If you use liberally all over then it wont last more than a month.
