The Best

I have been fooling around at home with my hair since the 60's. The time factor in addition to the condition in which it leaves my hair makes me rate it a 10. I do use a color closest to my own hair color (light ash blonde), so I am not changing my hair color, just enhancing it.

Almost a Perfect 10

I found this product very easy to use and it really does work very well in 10 minutes. Left my hair feeling in great condition with great shine and color. For me the color lasted a decent amount of time and I didn't notice much fading. I would have given it a 10 but feel it's a little pricy.

Great Color but stains your skin!

This product was great but if you got a little on your neck or shoulder or forehead it is nearly impossible to get off that day! I scrubbed till my skin was red and still didnt fade. I have read that you can try vaseline on the hairline to prevent the skin dying but it didnt work with this product. It doesnt fade out your hairfast but it doesnt come off your skin easy either.

didn't last

i loved it at first and then noticed that it wasn't covering the gray. i had my hair done for a wedding a week after i used it and was embarrased by my gray roots. i'd rather wait 40 mintues and have to color less frequently.

Don't waste your time or money.

I used light auburn on medium brown hair with only a few grays. As per the instructions, I left it on 10 minutes plus an additional 5 minutes to cover the grays. My grays were NOT covered and my hair barely has a red tint. My hair is now incredibly glossy but for that, I wish I'd spent my money on a high quality conditioner.

not a perfect 10 but close

I wasn't thrilled with the applicator comb. I felt it was really hard to use but they have a standard applicator as well. The color was nice. What I expected. The colors available are limited though. I wish they had more.

Not so Nice n' Easy, and Certainly Not Perfect

I've been coloring my hair for 30 years, and there's only one time that I have been as disappointed as I am with this product. It was messy to apply, smelled really bad, left my hair a wiry texture. But that isn't the worst. The color faded the very first time I used it and within two weeks, the color not only is completely gone, but my previous color has faded as well. This is a good concept, but a very bad product.

Clairol- Not so Perfect 10.

This product is more like a perfect 3. The packaging for the color was very sophisticate (seriously whoever does their advertising I am impressed!) however, the color was horrible. I am talking about patches of color and uneven. Also, the dye left my hair in horrible condition. Not that it was healthy pre-color but it felt fryed. The conditioner didn't do much to repair the issues my hair had afte...read morerward either. I definately prefer L'Oreal as far as coloring without destoying my hair.

Easy to use

It is quick and easy to use. I bought Medium Brown hair color. It has a great grey coverage after letting it soaks for 15 minutes or so. It makes my hair conditionally soft. The smell is not that bad as other brands do. It has less damaging ingredients in this hair product. Also, it is easy to clean up. The price of this product is about right because of an extra tube of a hair conditioner. In...read more order to keep my hair color lasts longer, I use clarifying shampoo (Herbal Essences Totally Twisted)to wash my hair once a week and conditions my hair three or four times a week since my hair is curly and dry. Way to go Clariol. I am a big fan of Herbal Essences hair products.
