worst ever
This is the first time I've tried a Clairol Hair Product. I used the color dark brown, which came out Very VerY Black!. My hair feels super dried out, I've gotten 2 salon conditioning treatments in an effort to rectify the situation. My gray were covered but I'm going on 3 weeks now and the color has faded on the gray to make them visible again. I have been a loyal customer of Nice & Easy for over 20 years - and with my House Party I tried "Perfect 10". Clairol has out done itself again. I was very happy when they came out with "Root touch Up" - only 10 minutes and the "Important" parts are back to Dark Brown - but I would have to spend 45 minutes to color all my hair. Best haircolor product!!! LOVE IT!
I've used this product 3 times so far and I am never ever going to use anything else again. I've tried them all and have been coloring my hair 3x a year for the past 10years. I naturally have black Asian long straight/slight wavy hair. I can tell you that nothing leaves my hair as soft and manageable as this product. I've even used th...read moree color on my friend and she loved it because it wasn't drastic but enough to be like wow you look like you're glowing in a natural way. PLUS i loveeee the comb it comes in. It's so easy to use and makes coloring hair much much easier. I color my hair in less than 10mins now in my bathroom and just by combing it in from the top to bottom. Just FYI, your hair is a bit hard when you're washing out the dye BUT don't worry, use the conditioner it comes with. IT IS AMAZING. But don't use too much otherwise i'll just be residue later if you don't wash it out very well. Be sure to use WARM water and DO NOT use shampoo after you wash out the dye. SO EASY! and I only have to wait for 10mins for the color to come onto my hair. SO MUCH BETTER than waiting for 30-45mins for other haircoloring products. LOVE IT. FYI the color is not like a crayon color, so it's more of a natural subtle color. If you want, go up 1 shade and it's still okay. Oh and even my hairstylist at the salon was looking at my hair and was like nice color, very nice, did you do it yourself or the salon? Don't do it!
Since this Clairol's Perfect 10 was listed as a breakthrough DIY product here, and in other trustworthy sources I gave it a try. Although I wish I didn't. Here's why; first, my hair became frizzy and dried out within 3 days, not a thing in my extensive supply of hair products has been able to control it. Second, the color is alright at the ends but bad at the roots. Now I know what you're thinking...read more my hair was damaged, already different colors from a previous dye job, etc. but it wasn't! I hadn't dyed my hair in a year and there wasn't a split end to be found. I used the medium ash brown which should take care of redness but my roots are reddish my ends are black. Third, does not last long whatsoever! I have a small streak of grey hair nestled under some side bangs...after just one week they started to become visible again! Lastly, the application was extremely messy using the included applicator, so I just used the tip applicator halfway through. I've always used L'oreal Superior Excellence cream and not only is it cheaper but it has always worked wonderfully! Professional hairdressers do recommend the L'oreal brand for at home hair dye above all others...should have listened. Perfectly Awful Product!
What an awful product! I would rename this product as PERFECT MESS! The colour looked nothing like the box. Not only that, I had one colour (a dirty brown/red at the roots and a few inches into the hair) and some odd dark plum almost black colour on the rest of my hair. I look absolutely ridiculous! To add to that, after 6 washes, this rubbish product leaked onto my favourite white swimming cost...read moreume and has died that with dark purple/red streaks. I have never had these problems with any other product. I’ve been dying my hair for almost 30 years so I know what I’m doing. And has anyone tried to complain to them? Their website is a complete minefield, you can’t get to an area where you can actually email them and tell them what you think or try and get your money back and compensation! May work for some but not me
I liked the comb, as it really helps to get even coverage. Unfortunately, the product did not eliminate my gray hair - though now it looks like 'highlights' in my blonde hair. My hair was very dry and rough after application - like hay. Overall, the color was okay but not what I expected. Not bad but not Perfect
I have started using this product. It covers my gray hair but not in 10 minutes more like 15. The comb is a waste of time. The root applicator is the same as any other brand. The solution is runny but no worse than other brands. I wait until it is on sale or I have a coupon. I have seen it for $9.99 and $16.99. It is not worth $16. Perfect 10 THEY ARE NOT JOKING!!!!!
