If you want dry frizzy hair chose this product

This was an awful product. I got it in dark brown, the color I normally use with Clairol's Hydrience. My hair came out jet black. Talk about looking like Elvira without the hot body. I got it in dark brown, the color I normally use with Clairol's Hydrience. My hair came out jet black. Talk about looking like Elvira without the hot body. It was also very messy--I've been dying my hair since I was a teenager and yet it was like being a beginner all over again--the solution just dripped from the comb attachment and made dye fly every and drip everywhere. I ended up just using it without the comb for faster, less messy application. Once my 10 minutes was up, rinsed, applied the conditioner, etc., my hair was so dry it brittle it basically looked like I fried my hair. It took lots of Alterna Caviar serum and my coveted Conair Infiniti Nano Flat Iron to get my hair to look decent. My hair was a total wreck for about 4 weeks. I do not recommend this product at all. April 19, 2008, 6:38 am I have long and thick hair, and I found the comb to be impossible. Once I got a little dye on my hair, it tangled up, and I had to switch to the root application. Not to mention, there's a very fine line between saturating my floor and saturating my thick hair. The smell during dyeing was no better than any other product I've ever used. The difference came after dyeing. My hair was super-shiny and smelled great. Oh, and my color came out nothing like what the box said it would. I was aiming for a medium golden blonde (beeline honey). What I got was a coppery blonde. I have dark blonde hair, so I didn't think it would a problem. Still pretty, just not quite right. Time and money saving

I started using this as soon as it came out in an ash blonde color, and unlike most drug store dyes, it wasn't brassy. Also, my blonde hair has trouble taking blonde dyes and not turning yellow, but this one works perfectly. Yesterday I got my hair colored at the salon, and 250$ later, I HAVE THE SAME HAIR COLOR IT COST 15$... Yea for this product!

I had an appointment at an Aveda salon and it would have cost me $100 to get my hair done. I cancelled it once I saw the reviews for this product and tried it out. Man-o-man does it work! I love the color (9.5A) and it lasts pretty long. I have no complaints! April 27, 2008, 12:50 pm

    Really easy

    by MsFACS (10 reviews)
This product lives up to it's name. It is nice and easy to use. If you are in a hurry this is the only way to go. Even though you only spend ten minutes with the color on your hair the coverage is really very good. April 25, 2008, 7:09 pm

    blended, did not cover gray

    by edie2k (13 reviews)
This is the first time I dyed my hair .I used the golden blond color and it was nice, but only blended, did not cover my gray hair. It also left my hair very dry , but I was able to fix it with a deep comditioner a few days later. November 4, 2008, 2:02 pm

Gorgeous dark color, fades in days!

I was so excited that I finally found the perfect rich, dark brown that I was looking for. I found it really easy to use and loved the comb thing. I have thick, down to the booty length hair so I have to buy 2 bottles of this expensive color. The color came out great and glossy, but imagine my surprise when this color began... October 21, 2008, 6:05 am I was so excited that I finally found the perfect rich, dark brown that I was looking for. I found it really easy to use and loved the comb thing. I have thick, down to the booty length hair so I have to buy 2 bottles of this expensive color. The color came out great and glossy, but imagine my surprise when this color began to fade to blah in just days. I mean, it really just faded out so it looked like I didn't color within a week and half. Soooo disappointing! October 21, 2008, 6:05 am

    less time but less coverage

    by rmc1ra (15 reviews)
Took 10-15 but did not have long-lasting effect and did not sufficiently cover those "stubborn greys". Won't use again! September 10, 2008, 7:37 pm

    Not quite a perfect 10

    by dmackay (89 reviews)
Yes, this product works in only 10 mintues. I love that convenience. The brush-like applicator is also great, as is the color and shine. HOWEVER, about a week after using Perfect 10, the color has faded considerably and my gray patches are noticeable once again. Not so perfect after all! August 9, 2008, 6:59 am
