Average product with an above-average delivery system
I love two things about this dye: 1) you only have to leave it in for ten minutes and 2) the comb. I have a short pixie cut, so the comb really was the fastest, cleanest way to distribute the dye through my hair. People with long or thick hair may find that the comb slows them down. As for the actual product, it's just your average drug store dye. It stings when you put it on, the color doesn't last long, and it kills your hair. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Eh..
I am glad that someone finally came out with a product that isn't ammonia based. Having said that, I am bit disappointed in Perfect 10. I had to ditch the comb because it didn't do much other than get stuck in my hair. The smell wasn't too bad, the color seemed a bit dry going on, and it rinsed out pretty well. I loved the color when my hair dried, but over the next couple of weeks it faded quicker than products that use ammonia. The color choices are a bit limited and it's more expensive than all the other hair dyes on the market (not including those you can get online at Sephora, etc.). I am undecided on whether or not I will use this again. It didn't dry out my hair and the color was deep and rich, but it faded so quickly I felt like I had to color my hair again in just a couple of weeks. This seems more like a semi permanent color than a permanent. If they can fix the fading problem, this would be the go-to hair color. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

great cost
Years ago-I had an appointment at an Aveda salon and it would have cost me $100 to get my hair done. I cancelled it once I saw the reviews for this product and tried it out. I have since grown my natural color out. This worked well at the time though and saved money. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Perfect 10 is right!
I'm disappointed to see the bad reviews for this product. The first reviewer said she used the dark brown and it came out black - well, that's how the dark brown looks in any color line right after you color. After your first wash though, the color goes right to it's rich luscious dark chocolate shade and it stays there for good. The fading is absolutely minimal and I don't think there is a better drugstore home color for brown hair. This color does have a glossy healthy look after you use the conditioner, and the scent is actually nice! No joke! Plus, it works in 10 minutes - or 15 minutes if you have gray hair like myself. That is just unheard of and makes this home color the best choice, and definitely worth every cent. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

This color is so easy. 10 minutes to true color as indicated on the box. The price is also great! — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

good product for the price
This hair color does the job. It was not overly drying or damaging to my hair, and I liked that I only took 10 minutes. It was easy to apply and gave me nice color. It's a good buy — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

nice color.
Love the idea of the comb through hair color, but I found it to be very messy and difficult to use with my long thick hair. After making a mess of the floor I just ended up using the bottle so I could get some of the product on my hair. The color came out nice, not exactly what I expected but it looked nice and I did like that it only took 10 minutes, and my hair looks shiner and more healthy. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Really good!
When I was still coloring my hair on my own, I really liked using this. I only used it to touch up the roots. I used dark brown, and unfortunately I can't just to my roots without the rest of my hair getting a touch of color. In other words, no matter what color brand I used, my hair just got darker and darker. i really like this product, and if I need to color on my own again, this is what I would use. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

HANDS-DOWN BEST AT-HOME COLOR
I've been using this kit for 2 years now and have vowed to NEVER pay all that money to get my hair dyed in the salon again! The color that comes from these bottles is soo rich and leaves my hair looking lustrous and beautifully colored. My hair is soo much shinier and healthier looking as a result of using this dye. The applicator makes it easy to apply to the roots and rest of the hair. And to me, the smell isn't too bad. I just dye my hair in my bedroom so I can leave my window open for ventilation. And the Pefect 10 Conditioner they provide for the after-care is AMAZING!! My hair felts sooo soft and luxurious in AND out of the shower!! I have never been soo happy with an at-home dye kit but this one truly takes the cake!! And it doesn't break the bank either!! I paid $10.99 when I bought it last. Sometimes there are sales on this dye kit depending where you go. I think if you want a professional look for less, BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
