Acuvue 2 Brand Contact Lenses Reviews

No longer a lens wearer
I used these before I got LASIK,and I thought they were pretty good. They didn't dry out or stick to my eyes too badly, and I could usually get a little longer wear from them. That, and they didn't really tear ever. If I were still using contacts, I would probably buy this brand. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Great contact lenses!
I've been using these contacts for years! They are very lightweight, easy to put in, and don't seem to dry out my eyes as much as other brands. I can put these in for 15 or more hours no problem. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Acuvue are definitely not for me!
I've had the displeasure of wearing several different types of Acuvue contact lenses. I don't see what the hype is all about. None of them gave me clear vision, they were horribly uncomfortable, and would often feel as though someone had glued them to my eye balls. These never, not once felt clean enough to me. I ended up switching to O2 Optix and have been thankful ever since. I think these are a very popular choice and doctors are quick to prescribe them, but it's important to exahust every option before deciding on a brand. These will never be for me! — 8 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

The Gold Standard
A few years back I had PTK surgery and no longer require contacts or glasses, but these were always my go to lenses. I wore contacts for 15 years. The Acuvue 2's are comfortable, economical and a trusted line. I would definitely recommend, especially for first time lens wearers when fit is so important. — 10 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Rely on every day
I love these and have been using them for years. I replace them once/month and they were the fifth type of contacts my doctor had me try. I suffer with dry eyes and working at the computer a lot and these have really helped. Can't even tell I'm wearing them. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

My Eyes can finally breathe
Makes my eyes feel great. Hugs my eyes pefectly. A little thicker, but do not fold over so you have to flip flop them to get them in your eye. Best so far and I have been wearing contacts since 5th grade, and I am 32. My eyes can finally breathe, and the contacts don't slide either. Good price too — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great contacts for the average wearer
I haven't ever had problems with any pair of contacts that I've worn. I do enjoy these. They tend to fit well, are easy to pop in and of course help my vision. My friend with very dry eyes couldn't wear them though. He has a really hard time finding lenses that work for him. Still, most people shouldn't have a problem with these lenses. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Perfect!
When I was first fitted for contacts, my optometrist first had me try Baush & Lomb Purevision, SofLens, etc. They felt so thick. At my sister's recommendation, I tried Acuvue 2, they felt great. Fast forward 5 years, still wearing them. My only gripe is that the silver foil on the package sometimes rips the lens. — 5 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Works good!
It dries a little so keep in hand still rewetting drops or clean them with the cleanser overnight . — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
