Short Time.............
My family has gone through every formula offered by Herbal Essences. We run into the same problem every time...build up. The first 2 or 3 times the shampoos and conditioners worked great and then they starting building up and giving all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) oily roots, flakes, and frizzy ends. Quenched my hair perfectly
I'm always on a monthly rotation of shampoos and conditioners because of buildup in my thick hair. Too heavy
Smells good, conditions well, reasonable price. If only it would rinse out! This weighed down my THICK hair so much I would either have to shampoo again or deal with feeling the residue in my hair until my next washing. just okay
I tried this product because I was hoping it would condition my fine hair that tends to get frizzy. It smells good and does an adequate job, but I really didn't feel like my hair was in any better shape, or that I could forgo getting a hair cut while I was trying to grow it out. Just wasn't for me!
I've tired many Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners and I still haven't found one that works well for me! I have long thick hair that falls out a lot in the shower, so I got this with the hope that it would lessen my hair fall. But this turned out just to be your average everyday conditioner, I used it with the Long Term Relationship shampoo and together they make your hair smell nice and fresh, but it didn't help to hydrate or keep it moisturized. After washing, my hair felt the same like always. After using it a few times however, I realized that my hair actually fell out in the shower more than usual, so I haven't used it ever since. Best conditioner I've ever used!
I'm the beauty specialist at CVS and I've tried every conditioner out there and this is by far the best I've ever used. It makes your hair so baby soft it's unbelievable and it's really inexpensive. Coats the hair
At first I thought this conditioner would be good. It had a pleasant smell out of the bottle and felt good on my hair. Then, even after emphatic rinsing, the smell lingered like a halo and gave me a headache. I was willing to put that aside if it performed well, thinking I'd get used to the scent. However, as my hair air-dried, at first it felt silky...and then it dried more and felt heavy, weighed down, and...just weird. I could actually feel that a coating of some kind had been put on my hair - it left it feeling like a weird liquid plastic. Great for Kinky-Curlies :)
I am black, and have a good amount of kinky curly natural hair. I love this because it makes my hair super soft, moisturized, and is great for detangling. I even use it as a leave-in.
