  My hair is fairly straight naturally, but I would often have a problem with frizz and it flipping out at the bottom. After using this my hair never frizzes (even when it's nice and humid) and I barely have to use my flat iron, which is better for your hair in the long run. The only problem is if you curl your bangs because ...they will just end up falling flat, unless you use heavy duty hairspray!! (at least it proves this stuff works!) May 6, 2008, 7:49 am

  I don't get it.

  My hair is never curlier when I use this shampoo with this conditioner. I've used other shampoos / conditioners and my hair is straighter. This shampoo / conditioner (I think mostly the conditioner) gives my wavy / curly hair its shape without being too frizzy. It feels like it takes the same amount of time to straighten my... hair when I use this shampoo as with other shampoos. It's the best shampoo / conditioner for me right now, not because it leaves my hair straight, but because it defines my waves and curls beautifully. December 19, 2007, 4:27 pm

  It's Dangerously Straight!

  This Shampoo is the best! Where it says "Dangerously Straight" it really means dangerously straight. This has been the best straightening shampoo I have used, It tames the frizz ( considering living in florida , where the humidity level is always high) and of course, the best part is, without having to blow dry, m...y hair goes to its natural state of being completly straight with no waves!!!   Straight up good stuff!!!!

  I've always been a little skeptical about products that claim to "straighten". However, I was so blown away by the other Herbal Essence hair products that I decided to give it a try. Wouldn't you know, my hair got sooo straight! I couldn't believe it! And it made styling a breeze! Whenever I wanted my hair to be s...uper super straight, I always used Dangerously Straight Shampoo.   straight to my heart

  I love this product! My hair is naturally wavy, and while I love other herbal essence products that help me enhance my waves, sometimes I just want straight shiny hair. I was so surprised the first time I used it! I didn't even need to get out my flat iron. But the next time I did flat iron it afterwards, my hair stayed pin...-straight for two days - which is amazing for my hair. It doesn't weigh my hair down or feel greasy and it smells amazing.   no more whip & chair!!!!

  I am caucasian and my hair is kinky and curly. I never use blow dryers or heat product, but finally came to my wits end. I began using the shampoo & conditioner, followed by a light flat iron when dry. I will never quit using these products because, the longer I use them, the more relaxed my hair is.   cheap and easy alternative to ironing

  my hair was stick straight after i used the product in the shower for the first time.. i did not even have to iron my hair and it had the same results.. after rinsing the conditioner off, just towel try your air and air dry naturally or in front of a fan... your hair will fall perfectly.. also, hair is so much smooth...er to the touch November 29, 2007, 9:43 am

  The scent of this stuff literally puts my boyfriend in a frenzy. I love my wavy hair but really liked how it smelled so I got it anyway. After all of the "curl and wave enhancing" shampoos I've bought, this one seems to help my hair get the perfect waves. While the shampoo meant for my type of hair makes it flat a...nd guhhh.
