Brand new to the headache of covering gray hair and it's a chore. My hair grows so fast, I can't keep up with the grays. I just used this now and it was okay. My hair is soft and has a slight sheen and the grays are mostly covered. It did an okay job. I didn't find the bottle anything special - it was hard to remember to squeeze it hard enough for the product to flow through. But the application was easy enough. I applied it on my part, all around my hairline and had enough to lift up my part on both sides and go over the grays underneath. I have stubborn, thick silver hairs on my part and after rinsing, I realized I must not have left the product on long enough, as some of those grays had been dyed a dark brown, not black. In fact, the mixed dye looked like a milk chocolate color and I was worried it wasn't black enough. So who knows if this was a timing error or just a faulty product. I recently bought this at a CVS for something like $4 - it was on sale. So maybe this is why. I'll be looking for other root touch-ups in the future and won't be using this one again. — 5 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

revlon color silk root perfect
this stuff is HORRIBLE!! i am 49 and have to dye my salt and pepper gray hair regularly. I thought I would try this product to touch up my roots between colorings. Not only did it dry out my roots, within a week my gray roots were back, just as if i had never colored them. I have tried loreal and clairol's root touch ups, and while they last longer, their color isnt that great. But i will NEVER use revlon again. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
