Sally Hansen French Manicure Nail Guides Reviews

Terrible
I thought it was me! I am glad to see that it is everyone that have the leakage problem. I even tried on my toes thinking maybe I'd do it better, but nope just a big mess. But I like the scotch tape idea, I am glad I read these reviews. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

No good
I didn't like these because no matter how I tried the nail polish leaked underneath and I never got a smooth sharp edge. Just not for me. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Easy, but ineffective
The guides are a great concept, but I believe they could have done better. The strips constantly slide off and nail polish often gets under them... a waste of money. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

as other women have said...
the strips are too long! AND some would peel up so i start to press the strips down as hard as i could to adhere tightly only to discover that when i peeled them off, it also took off my pink sheer coat underneath... i mean painter's tape doesnt even have this problem... i didnt have a problem with the polish so i gave it a four but i always put on a top coat anyway so it wont chip. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Terrible!
The guides will not stick, and the nail polish leaks right under the guide. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

fail
Loving french manicures and unable to afford them regularly, i bought this as a DIY. The white polish was thick and lumpy and bubles right up. The strips did not help at all! the shape was unnatural, you have to cut it up to fit your nail, and the polish leaks under the tape! I took the glide off and saw lines of white where the tape had been. Waste of time — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

They Work When I Use Them
I have been using these guides for years. I apply two thin coats right up to the guides edge. Just make sure they are stuck on and wrapped around your toes. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Difficult and impractical to use
Unless you place these on your nail just right and smooth it out in such a way that no polish gets underneath the guide. The majority of the time, polish manages to seep beneath the guide and result in an uneven line. Painting in thinner coats did seem to help, but honestly, you're better off with scotch tape. With the time it takes to get the guide on your nail just so, you could probably paint a better French tip freehand, if you're careful. Also, if you paint your entire nail with polish before your French mani, I would not recommend putting these guides over polish unless it is 100% dry or else it will remove the polish underneath it when you take the strip off. — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
