May 25, 2008, 11:56 pm These french manicure guides sure know how to make a woman blow steam as you stick these adhesive strip guides on and find that your nail polish somehow will soak through the guide or the guides won't adhere well enough to the nail to ensure a precise detailed line. My perfect solution? Bandages. No joke, bandages that are the standard size and are rounded at the edges which mimick the perfect curve to the edge of the nail yet they stick well enough to allow a barrier for the polish and you'll get better french manicures out of that than these guides. I've found better guides out in the store far better than these so save your energy and some money and my suggestion is to choose something else!3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

manicure nail guides
by soxfan11 (11 reviews)Though it sounds good, I found that these were too difficult to use. I got a better, more precise line when just doing it free-style. August 27, 2008, 6:16 am0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

ehh~not worth it!

Not real impressed with the manicure guides. I found that polish leaks under them, and truthfully it is just easier for me to try and do it free handed versus using these. I suggest finding something else to spend your money on! August 26, 2008, 2:13 pm0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

Works Great With A Little Extra Effort

At first, I too had problems with leaking polish colors. Then I realized that it was due to the fact that I wasn't fully pressing down on the divider strip the entire width of my nail. After you apply the strip, simply run over it with a hard object, such as nail clippers, to squeeze out any air bubbles and help it lay flat on your nail. Do this, let the coats dry completely before you remove the adhesive strip, and you will have beautiful and perfect nails!0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

These are no good.
by jadenbru (10 reviews)Yuck. I can do a better job without the guides, even with my permanently shaky hands. Like others have stated, your polish can leak under the guide, which pretty much ruins the purpose of these. Waste of money, don't bother. French manicure kits
by ajcjskid (11 reviews)I have yet to find a kit in the stores that did a good job with french manicures, Avon made a product that did a better job than this one- but it still was not perfect. I will stick to the nail salon for french manicures for now. July 29, 2008, 5:24 am0 of 0 people found this review helpful.

Doesn't work
by Blueslady17 (5 reviews)Nail polish ends up leaking under the strip. Or if you try a reverse french manicure it pulls off the base coat of polish. July 28, 2008, 11:09 pm0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
