This started off fine the first applications, but it became thick and goopy very soon. Didn't dry my nails very quickly, I've tried other top coats that were better. I was surprised at how truly fast drying this coat is. It also did not cause any shrinkage to the polish like can happen with Seche Vite. It did reduce the life of my polish on the nail, so for that reason I give it a 9 out of 10. Wow, this top coat does dry fast. All I expected from this product was to prevent the nail color from chipping. But it does more than that. My nails look even and smooth, and even some light/pastel color looks shinier. I hate to be a nay-sayer in a bunch of good reviews, but this just did not live up to its claims. I followed the directions and hoped that I had found a mass produced fast drying top coat. I did not. This left my nail polish with smears. I was very disappointed seeing that I use the Poshé fast drying top coat. Oh well! This top coat truly does dry your polish instantly. As for the "anti-chip" part, it's barely better than average. It's not super shiny, either. I end up using it really often anyway because I always seem to be doing my nails in a hurry. I followed the directions exactly and there was absolutely no problem. My nails were dry to the touch in a flash. But read: dry to the TOUCH, not dry to the nail. If you scrape or scratch your nail, it will show. The polish will still need time to dry underneath so you should still be careful. But it does dry the polish to the touch, so getting dressed or doing your hair afterwards is no problem. As far as long-lasting protection of the nail color, I'm not sure. I have nail color ADD and tend to take off my color within a couple days anyway. The finish of this top coat does dry to a nice shine, though.
