Urban Decay Eyeshadow Transforming Potion Reviews

Transforming Potion
Not one of their better products. Actually is a waste of money. Water and an angle brush work better. Don't waste your money. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Good Idea but a RIP OFF
Girls, did you look at the ingredients? It's basically water and propylene glycol (PG). PG is like Glycerin, and Glycerin you can buy really cheap for a big bottle in a drugstore. It costs not even a penny to make this. Make your fresh potion by mixing water and PG every time. You don't need the thickener and preservative that they include. You can also use your own eyeliner brush or better yet, buy from art store for a dollar with really good quality soft bristles rather than these synthetic bristles. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

There's got to be a better way!
Yes! I agree with the 2 previous reviewers. These brushes don't retain enough of the product or liquid to achieve what you're going for. I'm really disappointed in this given how much I love Urban Decay's other products. This one just makes me sad. I don't recommend this product unfortunately. — 4 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

I don't hate it
Yes it burns a bit, yes it can get messy, and yes its not perfect. But rinsing it between uses makes it cleaner to use and using on higher grade eyeshadows makes it work the way it should, of course its not going to work if you're just diluting crappy drugstore eyeshadow...I like it, I don't love it. But it deserves some recognition. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

junk
you are better off using a brush dampened with water. This stuff did not work for me at all and made my eyes burn. Unfortunately I did not return in time so I put this where it belongs - the trash. 1 star for the cool concept. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not what it promises
my friend and i were in sephora and we saw this product, and after reading the promised results, i was stunned. what a great concept, i thought. i decided to try it, so i took a sample eyeshadow and a tester tube of the stuff and tried it out. the result was less than okay. it may have been the eyshadow itself, but the supposed 'eyeliner' was watery and had no pigment whatsoever. i was greatly disappointed. but i do think its a great idea, just set into motion in the worst way. it doesn't work, dont spend your money on it, i say. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good if you want your eyes to burn.
I love Urban Decay. Its one of my favorite brands. But ow! This stuff is painful! It does what it was meant to do, but it isn't gentle or merciful. I cried all my makeup off and had to start all over again. This stuff burns. Besides that, its pretty good. It does was it was intended to do and it does it well. But I wouldn't buy it again. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Ow!
This product is a great idea, but it hurts! I used it with my eyeshadow and applied it, and it was watery and not highly pigmented. If you use it close to your waterline watch out! This stuff stings, and it made me cry my eye makeup off. The little brush tip was so small it poked me in the eye and did not make a significant line. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
