Blinc Kiss Me Mascara Reviews

Tried it, tossed it
italiaca (222 reviews)I liked the idea of being able to take mascara off with water and my finger tips. It's true that this comes off in little tubes. However, when I put it on, it didn't separate the lashes; it clumped them together. If it doesn't look good on, it doesn't matter to me how easily it comes off. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

clumpy
LaurelJ (152 reviews)This mascara went on really clumpy and smudgy. It gave me that awful "spider-eyes" look. The tube concept sounds like a good idea, but I think the applicator needs some work. I really didn't notice any volume or length, my lashes just looked clumpy. I'm going back to Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion — 8 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Good but not my favorite
ladyslipper (169 reviews)I liked this product overall but did find that at the end of the day if I rubbed my eyes it would come off...which is good if you are trying to remove it but bad if you don't...then you just have black 'strings' all around your eyes. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

12 Worst Mascaras -
Easy removal and separated lashes
Vintage_Glamour (24 reviews)I first received a sample of the Blinc mascara in a Birchbox. I liked it enough to purchase the full size at $24 from the Birchbox website. I am skeptical of "tubing" mascaras because the ones I have used in the past haven't delivered. This one really does. Once the mascara sets on your lashes, it stays put until you wash it off. It doesn't leave black rings around your eyes either when you remove it. Just splash your eyes with warm water and gently pull tubes off. It'll seem like you're removing false lashes. It's odd but totally painless. This mascara is great if you want a separated, natural lash look. The downside of this mascara is that is isn't buildable. If you are looking for a volumizing mascara that will give you that lush lash look, Blinc is not for you. There is no point in layering the mascara to try to get that volume because once it sets, it is SET. The only other pitfall of this mascara is the price. I was willing to pay $24 for this product because I have been so aggravated by impossible-to-remove-mascaras. If easy removal and precise, separated lashes are not critical for you, I would recommend saving your money on this one. With that said, I think Blinc has a truly unique product that is worthy of its high end price tag. — 2 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good but not for $25
summer_yarbrough (2 reviews)I really hate eye make up remover. Like a lot. So when I heard about this mascara I was really excited. And it is true, warm water & pressure gets this stuff off (however that does mean it also gives you weird clumpy mascara eyes if you have a good cry while wearing it, but I am not considering that in this review), this mascara is also basic, it doesn't add very much length and does not add volume which is a plus for someone like me ~ I'm lucky to have pretty great natural lashes so volumizing mascaras are too extreme on my eyes for an everyday look. But this stuff clumps your lashes together so easily, and I really think it's because of the "fine bristles & spiral brush" - the brush sucks. I use a lash comb right after applying 90% of the time. I really do like the mascara itself, I just expect a better brush for $25. I get a more consistent and better result with my Maybelline mascara, but like I said I really hate eye make up remover... So I'll keep using it till I run out, but I won't buy it again. — 3 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Apply It Right and Looovvvvee it
Theoracleiam (21 reviews)This it NOT your typical mascara! So don't try to apply it the same way. THE BEST thing about this is it will never come off all over your face. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

18 Best Mascaras -- EVER -
wouldn't buy it
eilee (2 reviews)Yes it does create a tube around your eyelash. I do not use makeup remover, only warm water and a washcloth so many mornings I awoke to have what looked like lashes on my face. It was the tubes. All this mascara did was darken my eyelashes so unless you have very thick or very long eyelashes, this mascara is a bust. — 6 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

So-so
rach7 (7 reviews)It was just ok. It's comes off in tubes, sure...but doesn't really deliver on length or volume. In the end I tossed it and went back to a normal mascara formula. — 11 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Okay
n_yang85 (40 reviews)Made my lashes very long, but did not do much for volume. My lashes were also very stiff. Doesn't give raccoon eyes or smudge though. I got this in a sample size so I've only used it two times so I can't remember if it's hard to take off like all the other "tube" mascaras. If you have naturally thick lashes and want a mascara that will give you length and define your lashes, this is it. I will probably use up the sample as my first coat of mascara and use one that thickens as the second coat. Nice to try, but I wouldn't spend the money to buy a full tube. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

12 Worst Mascaras -
not what i thought
bearowl907 (16 reviews)I got this on a whim even though it has such a hefty price. The first thing I noticed was the formula which was really thin and glossy, then I noticed that the brush was a little sparse bristle wise. I put on a couple coats in alloted time (2 minutes) which was a little difficult because it started to tube my lashes immediately so I felt a little bit of resistance when I was applying the mascara. It gave a little bit of length and no volume at all. In fact it looked like it had taken some volume out of my lashes, which looked a little odd. Later in the day I had an allergy fit where my eyes started to water and I didn't rub or mess with my eyes, but I blinked a couple times . When I went to wipe my face I found some residue and it turned out to be the mascara, so it really didn't stand up to its claims of being water proof. And it also didn't stay true its color because I got it in deep purple and it just looked like a muted black. I definitely don't think it's worth the money and wouldn't buy it again. However I do realize that it could react differently with other people's lashes — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
