February 21, 2008, 3:37 pm my friend convinced me to try this a few months back. at the time, we were both really excited by the tube-wrapping technology. i agreed to try it because i was using Imuju Fiberwig mascara and wanted to see what else was out there. however, i have found that this stuff isn't really worth the hype. it is NOT good for volume - but, it is true that there is nothing like it for length. my main problem with it, though, is that it tends to flake off during the day. I hate this: why get all prepped up when it's going to flake off and make you look dirty later? if you are going for the tube-wrapping technology, try Imuju Fiberwig, which does not flake. yes, it does not have the same initial impact, but it has several other perks. first of all, it is much easier to build. second, the wand, i find, is easier to use. and last of all, it looks really natural while building volume - it truly looks like your lashes, with nothing extra attatched to it. just, of course, eye-catching good looks.5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

April 25, 2008, 7:14 pm I read all the reviews and thought this would be a great product. So I purchased it along with the eyeliner and the eyelash curler. The mascara does what it says,"it's natural looking, comes off in 'tubes', and provides a glossiness to the lashes". However, I don't like sacrificing volume and length just to get something that comes off easy. Also, care must be taken not to get anything else on the lashes, such as moisturizer or other make-up. I find this difficult to live with. It's not like I intentionally put stuff on my lashes, but good grief, I like to use moisturizer, eyeliner and shadow and something might get on the lashes. And when it comes to value...I find this product lacking. A lot was spent on the packaging, while the brush is not even the best I've used. Compared with my other mascara which is well under $10 this one is a big loser!4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

March 26, 2008, 9:12 pm #1, the price is too high. i've found the more expensive the mascaras (ala some lancomes, etc) the worse the product. i love the concept, but i did i have some flaking below my eyes, not much but who wants ANY flaking? and it does NOT just slide off easily when you wet your lashes, you have to soak them forever and/or pull them off w/some effort. as i said, i love the concept, but i'm not happy w/the execution and being a makeup artist, i've tried everything. it does NOT make your lashes longer or thicker at all, it just encapsulates each lash in the product, so it shows up your lashes exactly as they are, just darker. no added body or length. but i think they should expand on it, make it better.4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Best Product Ever
by lonesomeheroine (1 review)I have long but pale lashes with a real tendency to smudge through the day. February 12, 2008, 6:11 pm I have long but pale lashes with a real tendency to smudge through the day. This is the first mascara I've ever had that doesn't smudge even the tiniest bit, whether I cry, get caught in a rainstorm, or go to the gym. It provides exactly what I need, which is a rich dark color and a natural look - it looks like you just have great lashes, not like you're wearing a ton of mascara. The removal is incredibly easy, and if enough warm water is used minimal pressure is required to slide the tubes off. It's a bit pricey, but the unique formula never dries out, meaning it lasts for ages. I can't imagine ever trying another mascara.4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

December 18, 2007, 9:25 am Not sure exactly how I first came across this product, but it was shortly before my wedding. It is really a remarkable mascara and it doesn't run...even if you cry. It lasted the full day of my wedding and I was very pleased with it's performance. Works even better than most waterproof mascaras. Make sure it is completely dry before you touch your eyes. When it comes to remove it, no extra products are necessary. Just thoroughly wet your lashes and gently pull your finger over them. The only negative thing I have about it is that sometimes it gets a little clumpy on the lashes, but not so bad I would stop using it altogether.4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

May 29, 2008, 10:02 am Blinc Kiss Me is the best for those who want something that won't melt and smudge at the end of the day, and is quick and easy to remove. This will even last through teary moments, such as at weddings, so you won't have to worry about raccoon eyes ruining your day. I use this along with the blinc eyeliner and have never needed to use makeup remover since! It doesn't do much for volume, but definitely lengthens. The consistency is more watery than most waterproof mascaras, which may be the culprit in de-curling your lashes, but that isn't a problem if you apply a small amount and let it dry first to set the curl, then go over it again to lengthen and thicken. This mascara is definitely a repurchase for me!3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Otherwise, there's no smudging at all - which is great for use on the lower eyelashes. Holds a curl fairly well with repeated coats (which is what is needed to get dramatic length). The wand/formula does nothing for lash volume though, which is a downside. It can also be expensive (around $30 a tube in Canada) but I'm sure there's websites online that offer it for cheaper.3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

BUT, it does flake off during the day. Not noticeable unless you look up close but I sometimes wonder how much of it is getting into my eyes. It goes on thick and sticks lashes together - I'm okay with that. If it wasn't for this mascara that I can easily wash off, I wouldn't wear mascara at all.3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

It lasts all day without flaking although I was dissapointed because Blinc Mascara doesn't give much volume to lashes as it claims, so best for a natural daytime lashes look. You also have to be careful when applying as it can clump up the lashes, it took me a while to get the hang of applying this one. Don't get me wrong its very good3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

One of the few mascaras I can wear without eye irritation

With all of the mega-volume-extra-length-super-curl products available these days, I despaired of finding a mascara for daily use that would just give my natural lashes a bit of a finished look. This product was my miracle find. It does enough to my lashes that I can pull off a quick 'natural' look with just some mascara and lip gloss, and it doesn't make my eyes prone to redness or itching. Better yet, when my eyes DO start watering for whatever reason, the worst that happens is a few of the little 'tubes' might come off, and they're easily wiped off. Much better than the smeary mess I've gotten from even waterproof products in the past. So if you want a natural daily-wear mascara, I'd really recommend this one.3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Manufacturer's Product Description
- Kiss Me Mascara is the original mascara invented to form tiny water-resistant “tubes” around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, the tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes. Kiss Me Mascara will add both volume and length to give you a radiant natural look that lasts all day. Only when you are ready for removal, the tubes will effortlessly slide off your lashes into your hand without the use of a harsh makeup remover. All it takes is the combination of lots of warm water and gentle pressure, from your fingertips, a washcloth or water pressure (i.e. shower) and the tubes will slide off your lashes effortlessly. Upon removal you will actually see the tiny tubes in your hand! Kiss Me Mascara has been clinically tested to be non-irritating making it ideal for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, and active people in search of a mascara whose look, hold and ease of removal is without compromise. Made in Japan. Net Wt. 0.21 oz./6g
Directions
- Use Kiss Me mascara on clean and dry lashes. Within 2 minutes, apply one or more coats. Once set, additional coats cannot be applied. Neither water nor pressure alone will remove Kiss Me mascara. Only the combination of lots of warm water and gentle pressure, from your fingertips or a washcloth, will slide the tiny tubes effortlessly off your lashes into your hand. Kiss Me mascara leaves no tint or residue buildup, making it ideal for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
