Cleans, but does not clear up acne completely
I am not a big fan of cream cleanser because it tends to be too weak for my acne prone skin. I pleasantly find that the texture is not very thick, it gives cool and tingly feeling, and it actually leaves skin fresh and clean. I feel even my pores cleaner, but unfortunately it does not fight acne properly. This may work for teen acne, but not effectively for adult acne. :/ Usually I find Clean and Clear products not very effective, but at least they 'clean' my face. However, this wash, which I purchased in a travel size for a vacation, didn't clean my face at all. The menthol sensation was unpleasant (why do companies even put menthol in face products?!) and this was the only face wash in a long while that left a lot makeup on my towel when I dried my face off. I even tried washing my face twice with it to no avail. It doesn't help my acne or blackheads, nor does it keep oil at bay. Great cleanser!
Before my dermatologist gave me the cleanser I am using now, I bought this and was pretty impressed. As a huge fan of cream cleansers, this is without a doubt in my top 3 favorites. It cleaned my skin very well, without leaving it feeling dry. Mild and fresh cleanser
I've used this for years. I don't rely on this as my end all, be all cleanser; rather, I use it as a supplement-- for example, it's nice to keep this in the shower or to use in the morning. It will not remove your makeup so I don't recommend using it for that purpose. But if you use something else to remove your makeup, and then use this, that's a nice combo. The scent is super nice and fresh, and the texture is so creamy.
