Love the colors!

Pastel colors
For bold and vivid color I use MAC's shadow, but for shimmer and pastel color, I use Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow. The color selection is somewhat limited, but I have several. Two of them are favorite. One is beige color, and the other one is white (for ice queen look in winter). Both are not too chalky or obvious, but definitely noticeable. The powder is soft and light, but it does not leave a powdery trace like some cheap eye shadow does. I also own Super Shimmer, but I don't feel any big difference, except the color selections. Great Eye Color
I really love this eye shadow because it comes in over 20 colors and goes on soft and smooth. It is easy to spread and apply, but doesn't smudge or feel heavy. disco pink

Good smooth shimmer
The shimmers have a better selection of colors than a lot of the other Clinique shadows. They go on smoothly and are long-lasting but my usual gripe about Clinique is that you don't get much color saturation for the price. Still the applicators that come with are really good and they don't irritate my eyes. They are also highly blendable. Shimmery, not sparkly

Fabulous!
i really try to avoid buying single eye shadows because they are hard to organize, but this is my one exception. It is a very subtle shimmer, lasts all day and never sheds sparkles onto my face. Amazing colors that get daily use!
I have the full-size shadows in Daybreak and Peacock, as well as a few small sized trios including "Lucky Penny" (I can't remember the other names off the top of my head). I wear Daybreak nearly every day. It's great to blend with, add shimmer or use as a highlighter under my brow or in the inside corners of my eyes. Peacock is another that gets frequent use. I like this color best when used wet to line on top and bottom. Even with daily use they are lasting a very very long time. Very smooth, great finish which ranges from a subtle shimmer to frosty, depending on the shade.
