Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner Reviews

Hate.
LittleBunny (393 reviews)DIdn't like the smell, made my hair flat, lifeless and dull, and covered with a waxy coating. This is a really bad product, and quite expensive. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Fig Cleansing Conditioner
powerwoman033 (509 reviews)The Fig Cleansing Conditioner is a universal cleanser that is wonderful for medium to coarse, wavy to curly, and ethnic hair. Due to its rich, dense consistency, it works exceptionally well at moisturizing, hydrating, and replenishing dry, heat damaged, color treated, or dehydrated hair. The Fig Cleansing Conditioner should be applied in four sections: crown, nape, ends on the right, and ends on the left. For hair above your ears, use a minimum of eight pumps (two pumps per section). For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 12 pumps (three pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 16 pumps (four pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders, use a minimum of 20 pumps (five pumps per section). For hair to your mid-back, use a minimum of 24 pumps (six pumps per section). For thicker/coarser hair, increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hydrate ends until hair is thoroughly saturated with product. Do a quick repeat and rinse (half the pumps) for any buildup and this also helps with manageability. I know the amount sounds like a lot but your hair stays cleaner much longer so you won't need as much. You can mix Wen's cleansing conditioners to get the best possible results. Please try this more than once, before giving up on it. It can take a couple of times to get the hang of it, but it is so worth it! Wen products are natural and work with your hairs chemistry to give you the healthiest hair you have ever had. I have not used anything but Wen for over 2 years and I always get compliments on my hair from stylists. They tell me they rarely see hair as healthy as mine and I always tell them it's Wen! This product also works great for your dogs. This is gentle enough not to irritate their skin, and gets their coats healthy and shiny! Can other products say that? — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Where do I begin
sweettpea29 (205 reviews)The cleansing of the sulfate free cleansing conditioner worked for me but it left my mom's short hair greasy looking. My hair was supple and soft. However, the fig scent was horrendous. I figured I would give it a try and the second time I used it I still felt ill. I'm off to try the lavender and the sweet almond mint. Hopefully those smell better. The cost for this cleansing conditioner is rather steep for a 6 oz bottle. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 35 of 36 people said helpful

ayec101 (8 reviews)I tried Wen and did not like it. I used it according to the directions (20 pumps) which seemed like a lot of product and it's not cheap! I tried using less, more, leaving it on longer- no matter what I did it left my hair feeling greasy and not clean. It smells good and it's pretty decent as a leave in conditioner after I washed my hair with something else and is pretty good for shaving as well but I do not like to wash my hair with any Wen products. — 6 days, 17 hours agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Hairstylist and I love this
hhwngrl660 (4 reviews)I have been doing hair since 82 and this is the best product I have found. NO Color fade. It takes the place of your shampoo conditioner leave in conditioner and detangler. Great for kids no more tears when washing or coming longer hair. You just really need to use enough of the product for it to work properly. — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I m now a WEN girl
davia_gorman (36 reviews)I was so skeptic the first time I ever received in the mail, afraid that my hair would not come clean look clean from something that doest bubble! The first minute that I got off at my doorstep I need to try it we open the package and ran into the shower.. I use the product unless it's in my hair for 4 minutes and rinsed out, immediately noticing that my hair was not snarly at the ins or difficult to wrap a towel! I was able to run my hands directly through my hair from root to tip without ever having to use a brush, not to mention I did not need to add any leave in conditioner or shine drops or shine spray! I let my home fan dry my hair, which I noticed took only half of the time of using a blow dryer! when I look in the mirror I was absolutely shocked my hair was full of life bouncy bright color, not w e i g h e d down, not flat, or frizzy.... pretty much the best condition I've seen my hair in a very very long time! this is allowed me to go an xtra three and half weeks without having to re color my hair! this product is fantastic investment for anybody.. trust me your hair will thank you! I hope someday to get to meet Chaz! — 1 month, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love it but way too expensive!
BeautyVee (7 reviews)I love love love Wen cleansing conditioners however the cost is just way too much! I don't know anyone who can afford to spend about $65 a month just on something to wash your hair. It takes so much product to wash your hair properly that a 32oz bottle only lasts me about a month and my hair is only about an inch past my shoulders. It does cleanse my hair well and leaves it soft and shiny. But with the cost so high I will be looking for a better alternative. I also want to add that although the smell isn't my favorite it isn't that horrendous either. It is bearable to me. If you are wondering what it smells like go open a bottle of Robitussin. They smell identical. — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
