Editor's Rating & Review
Looking for a sulfate-free, extra gentle hair cleanser? The two-in-one, non-lathering Wen Cleansing Conditioner may be for you. Upon first use, your hair may feel weighed down with product buildup -- mine did. This was because I wasn't using enough of the creamy product, so read the directions. My shoulder-length, medium-thick hair required 40 (gasp!) pumps out of the bottle. When the ideal amount of product is used, you'll get tingling, clean scalp and hair that's product-free and hydrated. It's a different way to cleanse and condition hair though, so be prepared for change.
Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner Reviews
Hate.DIdn't like the smell, made my hair flat, lifeless and dull, and covered with a waxy coating. This is a really bad product, and quite expensive. — 2 years, 3 months agoLittleBunny | 526 reviews
Fig Cleansing ConditionerThe Fig Cleansing Conditioner is a universal cleanser that is wonderful for medium to coarse, wavy to curly, and ethnic hair. Due to its rich, dense consistency, it works exceptionally well at moisturizing, hydrating, and replenishing dry, heat damaged, color treated, or dehydrated hair. The Fig Cleansing Conditioner should be applied in four sections: crown, nape, ends on the right, and ends on the left. For hair above your ears, use a minimum of eight pumps (two pumps per section). For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 12 pumps (three pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 16 pumps (four pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders, use a minimum of 20 pumps (five pumps per section). For hair to your mid-back, use a minimum of 24 pumps (six pumps per section). For thicker/coarser hair, increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hydrate ends until hair is thoroughly saturated with product. Do a quick repeat and rinse (half the pumps) for any buildup and this also helps with manageability. I know the amount sounds like a lot but your hair stays cleaner much longer so you won't need as much. You can mix Wen's cleansing conditioners to get the best possible results. Please try this more than once, before giving up on it. It can take a couple of times to get the hang of it, but it is so worth it! Wen products are natural and work with your hairs chemistry to give you the healthiest hair you have ever had. I have not used anything but Wen for over 2 years and I always get compliments on my hair from stylists. They tell me they rarely see hair as healthy as mine and I always tell them it's Wen! This product also works great for your dogs. This is gentle enough not to irritate their skin, and gets their coats healthy and shiny! Can other products say that? — 1 year, 2 months agopowerwoman033 | 509 reviews
Wen Cleasing ConditionerI bought a set of each scent and was excited to try them out. Unfortunately, all but the Sweet Almond Mint were a MAJOR disappointment. This one in particular left my naturally wavy/curly hair GREASY as all h@!!. Initially my hair felt like silk, but later in the day it was disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this to a soul! — 1 year, 10 months agoMissPoison | 229 reviews
