way better than Studio Fix
I wanted to try a mineral powder and this one is perfect. I hated the fact that Studio Fix was making me look too cakey, and after a while i would get these lines from the make up and it just looked gross. But with Mineralize, it's much more natural but still gives me that matte finish without all the cakey feel or look. Mac Mineralize Dark
This is the best powder I have ever tried. It's perfect for my yellow undertone dark skin. Other powders tend to be more red and not a match at all. The texture is great and its really easy to apply . The powder last for a good amount of time before you need to touch it up a bit. Wanted to love this product, but it's just ok
After all the hype, and seeing my friend wearing it looking natural and beautiful, I was excited to try this product. I ended up getting the Mineralize Satinfinish foundation in NC30(great color match for me) and the MAC girl gave me a Medium Plus in this to go with it. First of all I love the dome shape and using my Ecotools powder brush barely takes any of it away from the compact, so I was impr...read moreessed with that. A little definitely goes a long way, but I found that unless I paired it with foundation, the color was not the best match for me since they only come in about 6 or 7 shades. This would be much better if it came in more color selections like the studio fix(but mineral version!). It does give off a natural glow, but since I have oily skin, maybe it was not the best selection for me. I tried Physician's Formula talc-free mineral powder which definitely controlled my oil more than this. not sure about this one
This is a light coverage powder that looks fairly natural on the skin. I wish it offered more coverage and I think it makes me break out a little so it doesn't get the highest marks. cannot live without it
This is my go-to product. No matter what, I need to have this powder with me. I use it every day and I absolutely love it. It lasts all day, blends smoothly, and really does look natural and not overly powdery. It's easy to find the right color for your skin tone- i buy ione shade for summer and one for winter - I love MAC anyway, but this really is the best powder i've ever tried. I love it!
I bought this powder because what I was looking for was a light (and I mean light) coverage powder. The formulation is great and buffs on smoothly and easily with a kabuki or a flat top buffer. I would suggest going to get matched because I was just going to purchase Light Medium, but I ended up being Medium Plus. It's quick to put on and doesn't make you look like a cakeface.
