Yes, it's just glitter & normally I would say get your glitter at a dollar store but this is an exception. MAC glitter is really nice to create a more grown up yet fun, glittery look because it's really finely milled instead of looking like craft glitter. You can create a much subtler look with these & it's so multi-purpose since you can add it to lotions, hair products, or nail polish. I am in love with this glitter. I have used it for so many things. In high school I used to rave a bunch, and I wore MAC Glitter to every one I attended. It stays on no matter how hot and gross you get and it continues to look great all night. I have to admit, it' s hard to remove but if you use Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser, it comes off easily. I also love to use it over the top of nude lipstick and rock some glittery lips. I use Mac's glitters for things that you won't even think people use them. I mix them with my nailpolish, I use them on my eyes (with fixplus to hold it), I use it mixed in with my lotions, I put it in my hair--you name it. I own everyone of Mac's glitters released so far, and I enjoy them. One of these will last you a few years, I am not kitting you, even with a lot of use. You can buy them on ebay for half price, but beware of the fakes and only buy from reputable sellers.
