A MAC girl threw a sample of this in my bag when I made a purchase at the store. It had been a long time since I had bought a mascara from MAC. I have been more interested in trying formulas from other brands. So when I tried this, I was pleasantly surprised. It lengthened my lashes wonderfully while adding volume without clumping. The formula was not too wet or too dry and even the small sample size held up nicely as I used it over the course of a month. This mascara doesn't flake off during the day like some others tend to do. You can build this mascara up, which is nice, but I found that it only took two good coats to give a really dense, long lash look. This is not the easiest to get off, but I have this problem with many of my mascaras. After I work through a few other mascaras I already have on hand I may cycle back and purchase the full size of this. A letdown
I've been using MAC eye shadows, lip products, and nail color for years, but this Zoom Lash mascara is such a disappointment. It is runny and watery, so when applied, it does not dry quickly, weighs my lashes down, and clumps them together. I have to use a tiny comb (not included) to separate them. It also smudges and smears. Only one tiny positive part is that it definitely lengthens, but then I rather buy much superior drugstore brands. It is hard for me to believe that this mascara has a MAC name on it. Nice & Black
I love how black this mascara is and the price is fabulous. It adds length and volume for sure, but not much curl because it is a thick formula. The tube is sleek and rubbery so I do not drop it while applying. But this mascara does flake on me which is my BIGGEST peeve with mascaras so I do not reach for this one too often. Longer Lashes
I really love this Mac Macara because it adds length to my lashes and doesn't clump. It is really easy to apply, so that every lash gets a little color and becomes fuller. Not the best mascara I've ever tried...
MAC Zoom Lash is OK but MAC definitley has better products. It's thick and clumpy and tends to get all over the place during application. MAC Rules!

LoveHate Relationship
I have a love hate relationship with this mascara. For the price, I feel like it's unacceptable. I got this in a tiny sample sized and loved it, so I bought the full when it ran out. Wow - they sure aren't the same! The full size version is disappointing. As a mascara junkie who's literally tried hundreds of mascaras, I'm disappointed that one of the pricier ones has the most problems. I can't use it on it's own because it creates clumps like I've NEVER seen before. It takes eons to dry, so it always ends up making a mess either above or below my eyes, so I end up having to reapply my makeup to the eye area. Also, I find it doesn't create any length, so all I end up with are short, clumpy, nasty looking lashes. However, I do generally like using this on top of another mascara. If you apply to a semi-dry first coat of ANOTHER mascara, the Zoom Fast darkens it up, adds some volume, and can look great if you take the time to be careful (because it still takes forever to dry.) I do get compliments when I wear this on top of something else, which is nice. MY FAVORITE MASCARA!!!!
I LOVE , LOVE, LOVE this mascara!! It is my Holy Grail, my STAPLE that I will never be without! It gives me separation and volume!!!! It does not clump and the brush is the perfect size to reach those tiny inner corner lashes! I LOVe the smell of this mascara too!! It has a wonderful fragrance! Zooming,Booming Lashes!
I have tried plenty of different mascaras, but I have to say that I absolutely love MAC’s Zoom mascara. I have yet to find another mascara that can top it! I love the way it gives my eyelashes the “doll” look. It is not clumpy and it makes my lashes full, while lengthening them at the same time.
