If Too Faced Lash Injection and Lancome Definicils had a baby, this affordable mascara would be it. The near-perfect, smudge-proof formula creates the ideal mix of thick, dense volume, length and definition at the tips. Avoid clumps by using the outside edges and tapered end of the thin brush. Lashes will stay flake-free until mascara is removed with an oil-based cleanser. And don't expect to throw the tube away after a few weeks; it'll stay fresh for at least two months.

A MAC girl threw a sample of this in my bag when I made a purchase at the store. It had been a long time since I had bought a mascara from MAC. I have been more interested in trying formulas from other brands. So when I tried this, I was pleasantly surprised. It lengthened my lashes wonderfully while adding volume without clumping. The formula was not too wet or too dry and even the small sample size held up nicely as I used it over the course of a month. This mascara doesn't flake off during the day like some others tend to do. You can build this mascara up, which is nice, but I found that it only took two good coats to give a really dense, long lash look. This is not the easiest to get off, but I have this problem with many of my mascaras. After I work through a few other mascaras I already have on hand I may cycle back and purchase the full size of this. A letdown
I've been using MAC eye shadows, lip products, and nail color for years, but this Zoom Lash mascara is such a disappointment. It is runny and watery, so when applied, it does not dry quickly, weighs my lashes down, and clumps them together. I have to use a tiny comb (not included) to separate them. It also smudges and smears. Only one tiny positive part is that it definitely lengthens, but then I rather buy much superior drugstore brands. It is hard for me to believe that this mascara has a MAC name on it. Nice & Black
I love how black this mascara is and the price is fabulous. It adds length and volume for sure, but not much curl because it is a thick formula. The tube is sleek and rubbery so I do not drop it while applying. But this mascara does flake on me which is my BIGGEST peeve with mascaras so I do not reach for this one too often.
