Painterly is fabulous
This is my very favorite eye shadow. I'm a fan of the rich lip/muted eye makeup look. I adore Painterly, and wear it almost every day, paired with a good mascara, to give me a neutral eye. For a richer look, Painterly looks fabulous with a black or plum eyeliner. This product lasts all day with minimal creasing; on days that I get a slight crease in the afternoon, a light smudge with my fingertip resets it, good as new. I don't have to use any eye primer with this product. The finish is mostly matte, with a tiny bit of shimmer. I certainly hope MAC intends to keep this product around. This is probably the best product that Mac offers
I really like the paint pot in "Painterly". The paint pot works as a great base for the powder shadows or on their own. This product lasts all day and doesn't crease. I'd used the prep and prime for eyes and liked it, but found that it creased by noon. Stay Put All Day Eyeshadow
This is by far one of the best eyeshadows out on the market. It comes in a variety of colors and really does last all day. It never creases and you don't ever need to reapply. The eyeshadow that stays put!

Fantastic value
You can get a lot out of this little pot! You only need a little bit, it goes a long way. The colors are so versatile that many can be used as an all over color if you are a makeup minimalist. Creamy eyeshadow that doesn't crease!
I have MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study. I use it as an eyeshadow base and brow highlighter. I can just swipe the product from lashes to brow, apply a crease color, liner and mascara and I'm done! The color is gorgeous -- pale champagne with a hint of fleshy pink -- and it wears all day! A little goes a long way so I anticipate this little pot to last a LONG time.
