  Strawbaby - LE with Fafi for MAC but needs to be made perm!

  I recently acquired the Fafi for MAC lipstick Strawbaby. OK, full disclosure: I got two of 'em. This rosy coral shade has enough shimmer to look lively, but it isn't a traditional frost (read: it's not gritty, nor is it 60's frost that makes you look like a crazy cat lady). The shade is amazing, especially with Spri...ng '08 fashions that call for fun colors. The wear is nice, like most MAC lipsticks, and can be prolonged with MAC's Lip Primer.   Deep and Dark

  MAC's Darkside is a killer lipstick. This color looks far more plummy than it appears once applied. In truth, once applied this is a great deep red color that seems to work well for most skin tones - particularly well if you have a light to medium skin tone with yellow or olive undertones. Add a crimson lip liner from MAC a...nd any of their new lip glosses (particularly the holiday 2007 releases) and you have a stunning look for evenings out.   Rockin Reds

  I have MAC's ladybug and Russian Red. Both are gorgeous pin-up reds and I like them for different reasons. Ladybug is more sheer/shiny. It is not drying. It's a true red. The downfall of ladybug is it doesn't stay on my lips for as long as I would like. However, it is a very versatile color in that I have had red, blond...e, and brunette hair while wearing it and it looks great with all three. Russian Red is more of a Gwen Stefani/Dita Von Teese sort of red. It is gorgeous, it lasts forever, but it is very drying! I definitely reccomend using a lip balm and a lip liner before putting it on. They are both amazing and I plan to purchase more (different colors) MAC lipstick in the future!   MAC Lipstick is the best!

  MAC lipsticks (and glosses) are the best! They go on so smoothly and stay put. A visit to the MAC counter is so much fun because there are so many colors to choose from. I am very fair skinned and like neutral colors, but everything tends to turn pink on me. These neutrals do not do this. I use Shitaki in the sheer and ...Orchestrated in full coverage. I also have the latest Viva Glam, which seems to look nice on everyone. These smell great and are resonably priced. I use them daily and a tube lasts a long time! December 2, 2007, 3:25 pm

  MAC lipstick will always have a place in my make up bag. Like a friend, tried and true, it always pulls through. The colors are as true to color as I have ever seen and you can actually impact the depth of color on your lips. The more you put on the darker or brighter the color actually appears. It's super reliable - yo...u don't have to worry about constant reapplication. Unlike some of MAC's lip glosses, they really have nailed the texture/lip feel with this product. It smooth and satiny, almost making it feel like I have applied a lip moisturizer or balm underneath. With such a wide range of colors, you can always find the perfect match for any season. I love their coral/orange based colors (like Frost) for summer and more matted brown and pink colors for winter. October 27, 2007, 12:26 pm

  I have worn MAC Amplified Lipstick in Half 'N Half for years now and it is my everyday lipstick. Not only does MAC have a zillion shades and textures, but the quality is awesome. Also you can't ask for a better program than Back to MAC (you turn in 6 empty MAC containers, lipstick tubes, gloss, mascara, etc. and you get a... free lipstick of your choice excluding the Viva Glam).   Shades Galore

  Moisture rich, never overdrying to my lips. This is my kind of lipstick and while I'm not a big fan of lipstick nor wear much of it, after several brands and years later - this has to be my absolute favorite. With a mediocre price tag, it's results are quite the opposite. It's a long lasting, highly pigmented stick that ...doesn't disappoint and delivers exactly the color on the tube. The only set back in my opinion is that they appear as if they're ready to shoot out of a shotgun; the bullet shaped container doesn't appeal to me very much. I feel it takes away some of the girlie glam feel a bit. Nonetheless, it's a great addition to the makeup kit. May 3, 2008, 4:55 am

  Wide Range

  I love MAC lipstick in general and own over 40 of them. I love them so much because if the wide range of colors and finishes they come in. There is literally something for everyone and I will never get bored. They come in many colors, from pale pinks to bright orange, and they almost always release new ones with their limit...ed edition collections. The finishes are great, for those who don't like heavy lipsticks there are glazes, for those who like drama there are mattes. My personal favorites are the amplified cremes which have a moisturizing, creamy texture. Though some don't stay on that long and some of the mattes dry out my lips a bit (which I fix with a coat of lip balm before) they are a great value at only $14. April 23, 2008, 4:14 pm

  MAC lipsticks

  I have purchased more shades of MAC lipsticks over the years than I can even recall. This, I think, is one of their strengths. They have so many amazing shades that everyone can find a perfect one. Dubonnet definitely has my vote for Best Ever Red. It works on everyone I have ever tried it on. For lighter shades, Frenzy is ...a pretty shimmery shade that is very easily customized with liner. And "O" is a wonderfully unique berry shade with coppery shimmer. You just can't beat MAC for the selection and quality in this price range. February 16, 2008, 4:36 pm

  Absolute Adoration

  I absolutely adore MAC lipsticks, and the more matte they are, the better! The lipsticks with more lustre or shine don't stay as well as the completely matte ones, but the color payoff is great throughout. Russian Red is my staple; the blue undertones make my teeth look whiter, and the color itself compliments most skin t...ones.
