Olay Age Defying Classic Eye Gel Reviews

Good
I'm in my late 20's, so I don't really have issues with lines/wrinkles, etc, but I do get occasional puffiness or irritation, especially when I don't get enough sleep. Even though it's a gel, it feels pretty nice on the skin. It gives a bit of a cooling sensation, and I feel like it helps deal with puffiness (along with actual massage while application). Since it's a gel, it doesn't feel greasy, and is a good canvas for applying makeup. It provides really good calming effect too, I had some irritation on my face, and applied some of this gel on it, the redness and itchiness was reduced in a matter of minutes. A huge plus for me is that this one is unscented. The packaging could be better, cause it's a pretty big jar, and the product is likely to go bad before it is all used up if you stick your finger in it all the time... I don't know if this would help with serious wrinkles, probably not, but it is a good affordable moisturizer, so I do recommend it, and will probably buy it again. — 11 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Animal testing
This had a cooling effect, but I didn't notice any difference in my eyes. Plus, they test on animals, so nothing could be worth that. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Didn't see difference.
I didn't see any difference using this night cream, didn't notice any cooling effect either, not worth my effort. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

no compaints.
I'm using this product in combination with an eye cream since years and I really like it. My skin refreshes in an instant when applied, but I do have to follow with an eye cream or moisturizer as gels tend to feel and look "dry" when they, well: dry. For the long term effect i can only recommend this product though. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

KY Jelly for your eyes
Awful. I'm not entirely sure why I even picked this up. Perhaps it was suggested by a friend, perhaps I suffered a momentary lapse in judgement, perhaps it was planted in my bathroom by an evil outside source. All I know is that this has the smell and feel of KY Jelly. In fact I'm sure KY Jelly would probably do more for my eye area then this product did. It's not moisturizing AT ALL. I actually found that it dried my skin out a little bit. It does however feel good. It has a slight cooling effect when applied, so I imagine if you had a sunburn it would feel quite pleasant. I wouldn't suggest it all all, especially if you are actually trying to resolve an eye issue. This is the Gili of eye creams for me, A DUD! — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

i need more 'quench'
alot of people seem to like this eye gel, but it just doesnt do it for me. i did not get as much hydration underneath my eyes as much as i have with other eye treatments. this would be great for a young girl starting a skin care regimine, simple enough to just get her used to using eye treatments. it does not sting, and feels cool going on which is refreshing. a little goes a long way, so i can see the jar of this lasting quite a few months. — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

I love it!
This seems to be the theme here, but I love this. I am still very young at 21, so I am trying to help prevent. I have battled puffiness under my eyes for as long as I can remember. Since I started using this product, I feel like I have new wide awake eyes in the morning. I also love the texture and the cooling sensation. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Old Faithful
This eye gel goes on light and absorbs quickly. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't iritate it or cause break-outs. I'm not sure if it's preventing/diminishing lines since I do not have many yet. However, this is my go-to product if I didn't get enough sleep the night before! It does revitalize tired eyes with dark circles. I use it at night and in the morning when necessary. If you're a night owl or still partying a little too late with an early morning wake up call, it's worth the investment! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
