I used this and it seemed to protect my face from the sun quite well. I had always had acne-prone skin and I never realized that this was making my skin breakout until AFTER I stopped using this and used something else. As a reformed sun goddess, I have delved into the dark world of sunscreens. Helioplex was developed by Neutrogena and is contained in their sunscreen products. It offers long-lasting protection from UVA and UVB rays. Many sunscreens don't offer protection from both UVA and UVB. Mexoryl SX, a technology developed by L'Oreal, also offers protection from both types of rays. Having tried Neutrogena's Dry Touch, I was greatly disappointed with the powdery residue that it left on my skin. Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 45 Daily left me feeling very happy. Disappointed
I bought this after I read reviews saying that it wouldn't cause breakouts. Well, as soon as I started using it I broke out. As soon as I stopped, my skin cleared up. Good sunscreen, not great moisturizer for oily skin
I've been using this for a couple of years and it's done a great job of protecting my skin from sun damage, but I feel like I have to do a lot to prevent my skin from breaking out while using it. Must-Have!
I live in a very sunny area, so I apply sunscreen daily. This Moisturizer is great, its a moisturizer AND a Sunscreen. It has a little to no scent of sunscreen. It blends very easily and I have used it under my makeup and not experienced any oily spots. It all depends on your skin-my skin is normal and on my nose a tad bit oily. Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 45 Daily
I've been using the SPF 30 version of this sunscreen for years and just tried the higher SPF - both are fragrance free, blend easily and work well under makeup. For the dryer areas of my skin - under eyes, cheeks, forehead - I still need to use a more emollient moisturizer underneath, but this gives a satin-matte finish and doesn't make my t-zone shiny. Not as what I expect
I bought this moisturizer to try, because it has higher SPF than the one, Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 30 Daily Moisturizer I always use. However, after about an hour I put this on, my face became so oily ans sweating that I had to keep blotting off. Surprisingly Good
I was pretty surprised with this product. I'm not an avid Neutrogena buyer because I find their products do nothing for me and are harsh on my skin. I got a sample of this from my dermatologist and I really like this stuff. It's really light, not greasy and it doesn't add oil to my already oily skin. You may have to reapply it throughout the day because it's so light but that's a small price for not looking like you rubbed your face in grease. Feels too thick
I bought the tinted version of this product and was unpleasantly surprised. I usually love all Neutrogena products, including many of their moisturizers, However, this one felt so sticky and thick on my skin.
