7 Sexy Eye Makeup Looks to Try Now
If the only eye makeup look in your repertoire is a smoky one, keep reading -- there are plenty of other sexy, trendier, and super-easy looks to try this spring
Go naked Sometimes the most daring eye makeup look -- especially if you're getting dressed up and going out -- is no eye makeup at all. We saw it all over the runways and, to a lesser degree, on the red carpet at the Oscars. (Stars like Judy Greer and Leslie Mann wore very minimal eye makeup for such a high-profile event.)
It's an especially good choice if you're wearing brightly colored clothing -- you don't want your makeup to clash or compete. However, if you still want your eyes to pop, makeup artist Tom Pecheux suggests wearing nude lipstick -- on your lids. At the fall 2012 Peter Som show, Pecheux used a MAC Lipstick in Delectable, $15, (a mauve tone) and patted it onto the models' eyes. "The face is natural and matte," he says. "But the eyes shine."
