Love this article! Aveeno, Juice Beauty, and Burt's Bees were all very disappointing for me. I was surprised to see a Murad product in the lineup, as the items generally work wonders.

I don't think the Aveeno moisturizer deserves to be on this list. It only gives people problems because they expect it to work like a foundation, or if they have EXTREMELY sensitive skin.

I actually really like the Juice Beauty moisturizer! It smells nice, sinks in well, and makes my oily, acne-prone, sensitive face feel moisturized without feeling greasy or irritated. Plus, it has some great ingredients and leaves out many of the commonly used nasty ones. Don't let this list necessarily deter you from these products. Everyone's skin is different!

I'm know many of these (if not all) use mineral oil as one of their top ingredients. It is a by product of petroleum (gross!) that doesn't get absorbed into the skin. Because it is too big of a molecule, it sits on the top layer so no moisture gets in OR out. Do your research!!

I think Juice Beauty products are the ABSOLUTE worse...I remember trying out a face mask by them and I literally thought my skin was burning off. No Bueno.

I changed my moisturizer and facial cleaner to Eucerin. I am 57 and my skin is very fair and thin. Everything is just too harsh. This is the only product that works that does not break my face out. And it does not cost a fortune.
